Tonight, instead of continuing Witcher 1, I played Heroes Of Might And Magic 5 for a change. Lovely game.

Being naked would fit Witcher more than Heroes Of Might & Magic, though.

Civ II for life!

And g*@*~&nit Bokus! I ordered The Goblin Emperor a month ago and it hasn't even shipped yet! I don't care if you warned it could take this long because that would be reasonable of me!

My co-player friends (D&D 3.5 GM and his girlfriend, both are playing in my Pathfinder game) just got their room lease terminated when the owner learned that she is active in local LGBT community. They have time until 1st of July to move out...

Unless they find something else soon I might end taking them in as roommates. While taking roommates contributing to the covering costs of my flat is a reasonable step that i should taken ages ago, my introvert loner soul is cringing in anticipation of having to share living space with someone else than my parents. I'll be going to see them tomorrow earlier before the session and discuss this.

The dreadful part is that it would mean I have to start cleaning the flat, repair some things, and get a new fridge and probably new washing machine (ok, actually if they would move in they would help with repairs, and probably chip in to some costs)...

Holiday time!

I'm in Wales and it's not raining, which is just unnatural. At a book festival, so I've been to lots of talks (today: the evolution of the brain, the uniqueness of ancient Greek civilisation, the crisis of masculinity and something about cosmology and the end of the universe) and bought a shedload of s**tty sword and sorcery paperbacks - Gor books galore!

Am presently drinking beer and reading 'The Price of Power' by Rose Estes

I wasn't entirely aware of the number of college kids infesting my apartment block until today, when they all moved out en masse. Time to spend the next week combing through all of the garbage cans. I've already found a couple bucks in change and a hardback copy of Gray's Anatomy.

Is it me or is the winning song a bit on bland(ish) side?

Do Paizo made any interesting and/or important announcements on PaizoCon yet? Or is it too early on your time-forsaken side of the wold?

We have yet to see if it comes to this, and how well it will work. Will I be feed up with sharing living space with someone else first, or will they be upset with my introvert with extra serving of apathy no-life style...

The winners usually are, in my experience - even the Finnish heavy metal one.

As long as they know what you need from the beginning, it should be okay. Make sure you have your private space and they know that sometimes you will go there to be alone and it is nothing against them.

If they are a couple, they will probably appreciate their own alone time as well.

I have two rooms in my apartment. The other room needs a lot of work to be suitable. Mostly carrying away things, many of which are hard to carry away and can't be just thrown into the trash, though.

Still, it will mean that I can't just decide in the middle way to bathroom/toilet combination that I might get washed and take off my pajamas pants and shirt. Or even suddenly start cooking dinner at 3 am (because it will be heard in the other room).

Not much. As far as I know there is no legal protection for legally ending the rent contract if one keeps the required notice time (1 month).

From happier news, a friend got two kittens. I might need to go and visit her. I should also probably visit another pair of friends who have young cats for some time but they live just outside of Kraków and getting there is a trip for a whole day due to crappy bus transport there...

*SAVED*

The first few are downright awesome and things I would actually use in game. (The vulture/sphynx as a familiar and cockatiel/tabby as a housepet I especially like.) Then the last three were just plain hilarious.

Funny side note: Firefox spell-check does not recognize cockatiel. Recommended correction is "cockatrice". Stew on that a bit. =)

I much prefer crust punks when they're making folk music, as opposed to bringing filthy dogs to concert venues, refusing to shower, and spitting beer on people like they usually do.
