We will have our three and he will have his 3 and a couple more. Gonna be a big crowd :P
Nekkid in a big crowd??? I told you guys, I don't care what they say, I DID NOT get drunk and nekkid at the club last weekend, outside by the tiki bar... Uhm I mean, sure why not :P
LOL
You laugh, I sit and wonder..."What the Hell did I do?" And vow never to do shots again! I'm not 18 anymore! More than a lil embarassed, just glad it was a small crowd of close friends @ a private club, and relieved to know I wasn't the only one! :S
I'd make "where's the video!!" jokes, but those cost me a friend once when I discovered(and apparently, callously watched) the ACTUAL video, so n/m
LOL!!! All video and cameras are prohibited, its a seriously private club, we actually had to sign NDA's! Plausible Deniability FTW!
So it was one of THOSE kind of clubs?
Hey, I can't discuss what I saw at work last night either. But it was my first time seeing such frivolity...by so many people..at once. I really, really hoped what I almost slipped and fell in was beer.

O.o !!! Yeah, there was a lil of that at the club that night too, but I was not THAT drunk :P

Probably recycled beer

Emperor7 wrote:

Ugh, I wasn't that drunk either :S

Its honestly been so long since I have been out and about drinking and partying like that, I have turned into a cheap date. 5 shots and half a bottle of wine and I was three sheets :P

I would be interested in seeing these dice..I'm only a little older than they are.
At least I'm still younger than someone. :P

Uh..or are you supposed to get comeuppance? I forget how it goes. Either way...COMEUPPANCE!!!!!!

Taking a pic of the dice is easy. They're tan and most of the crayon in the numbers is worn off. Haven't bothered to touch them up. The d20 is almost completely round, hehe.

Maybe I can post them on your FB page. ;P

Holy s+#~. Mysterious Cities of Gold is on Netflix. This was a "bridge" anime series for me, I saw it on Nickleodeon when it was very new on cable- it let me know that things were still coming from Japan, and renewed my interest in investigating what happened to Robotech waaaaaaaaaaaay back in the 90s.
Really?! I loved that show! Must get kidlet to watch it now. :)
You have no idea how crazy I drove myself looking for this series after a while. Noone heard of it, and I only saw it in a Right Stuf catalog YEARS upon YEARS after my initial search.
Yeah, that thing where you start describing it and people look at you like you imagined it because it couldn't have actually been on tv...so annoying. :)

Hugs Lynora happily FINALLY!! Someone that knows how I feel!! I was told I was crazy soooooo many times, I watched a lot of VERY old school anime when visiting Panama(it was the only thing in english), and it connected me with such greats as Mazinger Z and the fairy tales I told you of. My greatest memory is that of spending time with my Aunt Pearl(who outlived all of her sisters and her mother, all of whom REFUSED to allow her to marry), and watching the anime on TV..she would make breakfast, scrambled eggs and bacon and weird bread(hard dough bread, I would later learn), and her big dog Judy would let me pet her...Ah, childhood.

Did you guys take pictures of your outing?

It would be worthwhile so that FHDM's visage can be lifted and included in a Mt. Rushmore photoshop along with luminaries Brown, Whedon, and Zuckerberg.

Finished reading that new Stephen King book last night. Good book. Reminds me of why I used to love King's work.
What was it about?

It was a new Dark Tower story, technically taking place between books 4 & 5. The usual crew gets stuck in a storm, hunker down to wait it out, and the lead character tells a story from his past. Cool thing was - during the story he's telling, his past self also tells a story. So those two stories make up the majority of the book. It flows really well, and was very entertaining.

Edit: and it had the Man In Black as one villain (at his douchiest) and a shape changing skin man as the other villain.

~sighs~ I need my head examined. I work tomorrow from 8 am to 5 pm. So what do I do? I get a ticket for the 12:05 am showing of The Avengers. Really, really stupid of me. I am going to be dead tired tomorrow.

Sleep is for the weak. Just down a gallon or 5 of coffee and you'll be fine.

~grimaces~ Coffee? BLEARGH!!! No thanks. OTOH, a gallon or three of sweat tea (the nectar of the GODS!!!) might do the trick.

Scarab Sages

My usual trick for combatting being tired is a combination of caffeine (either from coffee or soda) and plain, old meanness.

It's okay, dragon, we all fall to peer pressure at one time or another. Next time, you will be able to "just say no" to whedon and his works. I'm sure the hangover from being indundiated with "witty" dialogue will teach you a lesson/build character.

of course I clean it between uses. I am even more chagrined that I didn't wear it this weekend because I always keep it on me on case of zombie apocalypse.
