FAWESOME!

We also had beautiful weather here in Philly. Wife took the boy to a birthday party and he had a blast.

While I hung around the house Nekkid......

Time to go do some stuff.

Nekkid Stuff? You should put a bathrobe on, to say the least.

You're just discovering her now? I've got all of Legacy through war.

1 AM. Can't sleep. Blaming the time change. Tomorrow is going to suck.

Gonna try heading to bed again since my biological clock SHOULD be ready to crash by now. Again the morning is going to suck. Probably for the whole week until I get acclimated. Uuuuugh. I hate daylight savings time.

Hey guys, what have I missed?

CH, you look less angelic today....

UGH. Today has been nothing short of miserable.

Lousy sleep last night. Maybe 3 hours.

Woke up this morning, Mom apparently got to go in late, so had to move her car to get mine out. Took trash out because I was already out there. Forgot to turn off house alarm. Had to run inside to turn it off. Then moved car. That all went well at least, minus the alarm. No car accident.

Then remembered it was Monday not Tuesday so not trash day. Took trash can back up to house, fell and twisted my ankle badly when I got back to the driveway. Still a bit sore, though I can put pressure on it with no extreme pain so I don't think it's sprained or broken, though it is starting to feel a little swollen.

Today sucks. I'm just hoping it turns around before game tonight.

That sucks orthos. hopefully your day vastly improves.

Meh. Sore throat, headache. At least it is no longer raining so I'll probably manage to get to the session today.

Losing an hour will do that.

Sympathize.... -_-

We have twenty more days before the hour of sleep will be stolen from us...

hi everyone,

back home frothe east

I think I actually like Mondays. YAy heresy.

I like Mondays because Mondays are game night.

I'd have more of an issue with their existence if my schedule actually allowed me to have a weekend for them to ruin.

Weekend? What is this 'weekend' of which you speak?

Sat & Sun are just other days I have to go to work.
:)

*Blink* Time change?
That's why I'm even crankier than normal! ;P

On the plus side, got Skype up and running on my laptop, reconnected to my 3 college buddies, failed my will save and got talked into joining Champions online. (Champions was one of our fave games back in the college days)

My laptop runs it JUST well enough to be enjoyable, if I turn the graphics down. ;P

So,... been busy the last 3 days. What'd I miss? :)

Making PCs with intertwined backstories is too fun.

Indeed.

Quarter of homework assignment done in like 40 minutes that was suprisingly easy.

Good afternoon FAWTLY Folk! The big desk move is done and my computer is now hooked up in the new spot - just in time for a little lunch-time miniblitz.

Scarab Sages

Actually, I had all my stuff moved over last Thursday. Good thing I did it - the supposed movers didn't show up this morning to start getting my co-workers stuff over from the old area.

All that was needed was the phone and computer hook up. My phone was in place when I got in this morning. And, as I stated, they just verified my network jack was set-up properly so I was finally allowed to plug my computer into the network.

Had a good Sunday with the boy. We hit Lowe's, Target, and the grocery store. Then we came home and had some lunch. Then he took a nap while I cooked my dinner for later and played Diablo II.

Later on it was dinner for both and some play time with Legos and trains.

After he was in bed, I played DII some more, then watched Walking Dead.

The boy was a bit whiny this morning - misses his mommy. He was also coughing a bit, which has me leery. I'm hoping it's not another cold.

If it is, I'm betting he picked it up at the birthday party the wife brought him to on Saturday.

I'm really not happy with my new cubicle. For one, the opening is directly across from someone else's cubicle. I've never had to deal with that in all my time here so far - always had a blank wall to look at.

And something I just realized, the small drawer on the underside of the desk is in the wrong spot - right over my legs when I'm typing. In my old cubicle, it was on the other part of the desk (they are "L" shaped). Gives me less room to rock back and forth.

Plus we don't have a conveniently located sink to wash my stuff out in when I bring my own lunch.

Grrr........

Scarab Sages

But it's the drawer thing that really bugs me.....

Scarab Sages

Not to mention the people in the area they moved us to are weird.....

Scarab Sages

But, I hear they have mice sometimes. That'll change once I get my trap set.

I look forward to adding more marks to Mickey's Wall of Death.

Is it weird that I find getting to play LG characters in-game somehow cathartic? I just find it bizarrely relaxing to play someone who's a genuinely good person and plays by the rules and still manages to make a difference. Seems like you can't do that in real life.

If, speaking hypothetically, you were going to make an adventure that lead characters through an Arctic wilderness with a forest and mountains to the workshop of a jolly old elf who had a certain MacGuffin in his toy shop what monsters would be appropriate? I'm thinking some sort of collosal dire yeti for a Bumble, but I don't want to throw too much claymation kitsch in the scenario. Maybe some wintry fae? Animated snow golems? Any ideas?

Sometimes deh Kitsch is deh awesome!

Annnnd sometimes not. ;P

So, golem/clockwork soldiers for sure, Ginormous snow yeti, either animated snow golems (it worked for Dr Who!) or an snowman-inhabiting undead,

And Fae crafters, possibly alchemists or clockwork/summoners(?)
Or Fae casters/psi with animate object. (Pick your target and have it move to defend or attack.) No end to the fun! :)

I draw the line at flying reindeer. But in one fantasy game I have fought with (alongside) an armored 'Santa' who teleported. (It was obvious how he got everywhere so quickly) :)
