Why is it always so hard to remember what we're out of when it's time to make the grocery list. I'm just staring at the paper and I know I'm gonna kick myself later for forgetting something.
I tried one of those memory tricks for a short shopping list, making the acronym TEMMCo. We got the Eggs, Milk, Margerine, and a Can opener, but darned if either of us remembers what 'T' stood for.

Is this about real life?
or again just fantasy?
Caught in a flame war,
No escape to reality
Open your minds,
Take a deep breath and release,
I'm just a grognard, I get no sympathy,
Because I simply game, game simply,
rolling high, rolling low,
Any way the thread goes doesn't really matter to
me, to me
Teter,
I just killed a thread
post a godwin against his deeds, posted an opinion
now it's flamed
Teter...thread had just begun,
But now I've gone and flamed it all away
Teterrr oooh,
Didn't mean to make you cry,
If I'm not back again this time tomorrow,
Carry on, carry as opinions really don't matter
Too late, banhammer has come,
Sends shivers down my spine, body's aching all
the time
Goodbye, ev'rybody, I've got to go,
Got to leave you all behind and face the reality
Teterrr oooh,
I don't want to go,
I sometimes wish I'd never shown up at all
I see a little silhouetto of a bard,
Scarnetti! Scarnetti! will you do the
Varisian?!
lightning bolt and spellstrike, very, very frightening
me!
Runelords, crimson throne
darkenss, fire
thieves, kingmaker - magnifico
I'm just a poor boy, nobody loves me
He's just a poor boy from a gnome family,
Spare him his life from this monstrosity!
simple game, game simple, will you let me go
Karzoug! No, we will not let you go
(Let him go!) Karzoug! We will not let you go
(Let him go!) Karzoug! We will not let you go
(Let me go) Will not let you go
(Let me go)(Never) Never let you go
(Let me go) Never let you go (Let me go) Ah
No, no, no, no, no, no, no
Oh cosmo, cosmo, cosmo, let me go
Ocrus has a sandpoint devil put aside for me, for me,
for meeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
So you think you can stop me and spit on my
thread?!?!
So you think you can flame me and run me off?!?!
Oh, troll, can't do this to me, troll,
Just gotta this right, just gotta get this right in
here!
Nothing really matters, Anyone can see,
Nothing really matters,
Nothing really matters to me...
Any way the dice rolls...

Interview went well, I think. The guy said he could def find me some part time hours, but mentioned that he had a couple management positions opening up and that he felt I would be a good fit for that. We left it as he would call me tomorrow and we would discuss schedule and salary and then we would go from there as to whether or not I liked the job and it liked me.
*I would LOVE a management position with a company that has room to grow and benefits and such

I had this urge to have salsa and nachos for dinner. So, I poured a bunch of salsa into a bowl, added a bunch of sharp cheddar cheese, and then grabbed the sour cream. The expiration date was 14 OCT 11... :( ...and it sure tasted good! :D
You've got almost 3 years until it goes bad. Nothing to worry about.

My wife has been coughing and has had a sore throat for quite a while now. (Hopefully she's getting over it.) A week ago, she asked if we still had "that cough syrup in the cupboard". I looked -- sure enough it was there. "Let's check the expiration date to see if it's still good." Expiration date -- July, 1999.
So, uh, I should go to the store and get some new cough syrup then, right?

Sounds like a plan.

Are you certain?
At work, we sign calibration dates as DD/MM/YY.

My wife found a book that "answers all the questions that you always wanted to know".
One of the questions it addressed was "why does sour cream have an expiration date." The answer is that technically speaking, the mold/bacteria/whatever that makes it sour continues to grow. So while it won't necessarily harm you, it will eventually get so sour that it would be difficult to eat. (Of course we are also assuming proper refridgeration, that you didn't have to scrape off anything fuzzy, etc.)

About a month back, my mother hired me to do some heavy duty cleaning and repair in her garage and basement. While I was at the house, I looked in the refrigerator, and, to my horror, found a whole mess of condiments (and beer) that had expired when I was in F~$$ING MIDDLE SCHOOL. Thanks, mom.

So, the owner called and asked for a little more time, till tomorrow, and apologized. All i could think was...DUDE, Its YOUR Dog! I told him to take his time, and thanked him for even considering such a thing. So, even though I am biting at the bit to know something, we have just a bit longer. Dude is super nice, and crazy about the dog...which I understand, she is an amazing pup. (Her name is Ally btw)
I certainly hope he says yes, but if she stays with him (or at least his brother) I know she is loved.

Aren't you glad you had that Hazmat suit?
