Had a Throwback Thursday yesterday. Did my first big cabling job in 20 years. Used to do them on an everyday basis. Now it's definitely taken on a different meaning... throw your body out.

I'm not sure, they seem to be at war versus the giant black birds.
Unrelated, I found the giant on top of the Mountaintop of the Giants. I was of course, absolutely destroyed by him, but Melina seems to think I got this (I do not).

In my day we had typewriters. Cheap ones too! With the ink ribbons, shoddy keys, and you had to center your own line, like a peasant.
Bqck in myyyy day, 'posting' meant writing something rude on a stake holding up a fence.

You know that whole giant scary storm that we had a few weeks ago that everyone went on and on about? Well, that did have heavy winds and very frigid temps in my area but in the last 12 hours we have had MORE snowfall than the entirety of that three-day event and the roads are WAY WORSE.
No fearmongering about this weather in advance at all, went to bed with groundcover going from flurries melting on the almost completely melted to waking up with 3 inches of sopping wet fluff, six hours later and we are at 5 inches of standing wet snowfall on everything.
Sheesh.
