That happened a few times but as no one ELSE wanted to go swimming in the storm drain...

A cabling is a baby taxi, isn't it?

yeah its one of those dex based monsters that actually gets MORE dangerous when you apply the young template for the four player adjustment, because its no longer facing squeezing penalties to come after you on the sidewalk.

When I bought my giant crystal ball, the lady looked me in the eye and said "Whatever you do, never EVER leave it uncovered when you are not at home." I said "Woah. Because of the spirits?" She looked at me like I was a dumbass, and said "What? No! Because if the sun hits it just right, it acts like a magnifier, and can start a fire that will burn your house down."

Not much, I think? I mean, I'm still around...

Liberty's Edge

far out man

I defeated Morgott, The Omen King, after defeating Godfrey, The Elden Lord.

Now I'm off to die trying to get to the lift that will take me to the Mountaintop of the Giants so I can burn the the roots of the Erdtree.

Or something.

I'm not entirely sure what I'm doing yet.

As you do in Elden Ring.

If you're sick of the traffic, you could always move out to the Midwest

I could, but I'm sure someone would try to kill me for my job.

Job Interviewer: "If there was a problem, how would you solve it?"
Me: "Uhhhh...I'd check out the hook, and let the DJ revolve it?"

The Midwest isn't as competitive as you think.

All you have to do is buy a case of beer at the end of your first week and you'll be set for life.

It's like Australia, except with different silly accents, and probably less gators.

So far, the coolest new monster in the mountain region of Elden Ring is these snails that nest inside the skulls of giants.

How do the giants feel about this?

I'm not sure, they seem to be at war versus the giant black birds.

Unrelated, I found the giant on top of the Mountaintop of the Giants. I was of course, absolutely destroyed by him, but Melina seems to think I got this (I do not).

I finally went to the festival of Radahn, kicked his ass first try!

Barely, mind you. Still, a win is a win.

Handwriting is a secret code the olds use to communicate with each other.

Thoughts safely concealed from the youngs.

I trust you inscribed that post on vellum, with a quill filled with ink sparkling with powdered diamonds, wearing your best wig and lace cuffs...

I see you've also seen his pen collection.

Although you forgot using his Green Lantern Power Ring to seal it with hot wax and tie it to the toe of a raven to be delivered to the post office post haste!

You know what I haven't seen in a long time? An alias blitz! Let's go!!!!

Hey, where's the party? I gotta 12 of Coors and the new 'Warrant' cassette, and I'm here to rock 'n' ROOOLLL!!!

Party? Ya'll must mean the bonfire out the Clemmon's place. You go down the old blacktop-not the new blacktop and definitely not the cement road-'til you reach the Jenson's place. Hang a looie on the gravel road the used to lead to the old mill. Cross the crick at the stump where the big tree used ta was. Go down 'round the holler and up beyond the hill where Stevenson's old barn stood before the tornader of '75 took it down. Go through Johnny's gate, but make sure to close it up agin so the pigs don't get out. Cut across the field, less of course the beans are in. If they are, you gotta take the long way 'round and follow the trail that Aunt Jessie made back when she was a youngin'. You should see the bonfire up on Red Rock Ridge. Just park by the pond and walk on up.

Of course, they might not be there. If so, come back the way you came and I'll try and steer you to where they might be.

Actually I did write it down using my fountain pen earlier...

Kids and your fancy parchment and cursive. In my day we had ogham and that was good enough.

In my day we had typewriters. Cheap ones too! With the ink ribbons, shoddy keys, and you had to center your own line, like a peasant.

Bqck in myyyy day, 'posting' meant writing something rude on a stake holding up a fence.

I'll either be working on the secret project today or shovelling snow. I'll let the universe decide.

We may have a snowless winter this year.

I am not happy.

We have a possibility of snow every day the rest of the week.

The snow is gone. Again.

Liberty's Edge

You know that whole giant scary storm that we had a few weeks ago that everyone went on and on about? Well, that did have heavy winds and very frigid temps in my area but in the last 12 hours we have had MORE snowfall than the entirety of that three-day event and the roads are WAY WORSE.

No fearmongering about this weather in advance at all, went to bed with groundcover going from flurries melting on the almost completely melted to waking up with 3 inches of sopping wet fluff, six hours later and we are at 5 inches of standing wet snowfall on everything.

Sheesh.
