Minor rant...
Really people?
A) Many people seem to have a hard time writing a useful review. "It's crap" is hardly useful. Neither is "it's awesome". At least not without something more tangible -- both for the people wanting to buy the product as well as for the designers to help them create a better product.
B) Then there are the two extremes. "Magus is the only thing worthwhile in the book." "Magus is a broken class and I won't allow it in my games." "Everything is too powerful." "Nothing is worth taking." Again, without specifics, it's hard to tell what doesn't work or why and how to fix it.
C) I just have to say -- Paizo -- With all the influx of (largely) useless information you are getting from your "fans", you are turning out some pretty great stuff.
And I'm done...

Agreed, and for UC there are a lot of options I would like to try that I don't feel will break the game, and what else can you ask for.:)

I think this is the same problem that a lot of the 3.5 stuff ran into. A lot of players choose to ignore the "Optional" part of the rules. Just because it's written in an official book doesn't mean that it MUST be used in the game. If it don't fit in your game, don't use it. But the stuff that is in the books does detail a lot of optional material that would make interesting campaigns.

Well, a lot of it is simply -- "Read the rules, people!" I've seen so many threads about how the summoner is broken. I'm playing one now. I then see some of the builds that these people have. And more often than not, they chose to ignore the rules as written. So, sure things get broken if you don't read the rules right.

So true. We have a Wizard (Spellslinger)/Magus (Myrmidarch) character in our group and he has been pretty interesting so far.

What are you suggesting there, badger? ;-)

Maybe he won't work out, or Taig will get him. ;)

Thanks guys. I'm moving on, but hopefully if something else opened up, I made a good enough impression to be at the top of the list again.

I was wondering if you'd see that. One of my best friends in the world is from New York. Absolutely a great guy. But "soft spoken" would never be used to describe him...

Years ago, I got the silver on a good job. A few months later they created a job just to get me in. Hopes for you!
Thanks folks!
I know one of the interviewers loved my portfolio so you never know...

No time, unfortunately.
Don't be surprised if one shows up eventually, though. :)

Last time I checked (even though this isn't popular opinion), the DM has final say on what can and cannot be used. I evoke that rule constantly.

Sorry to hear the sad news Taig and C-Jack.
In other news, the Texas fires near my work seem to be 85% contained although the uncontained part is in my county. I'm still seeing bits of ash floating around my plant. One of my employees was in the middle of moving, and lost her old house. She has not been able to get in to see what's left.
