Yah old Metallic spam.

Don't think much of them these days, but they sure can grind so I still listen. I dissociate the music from the asshattery. Kind of like playing the German during a game a Squad Leader.

Man were did the weekend go? I can't beleive it is Monday already. Well at least I got the Hockey game tonight Go Bruins !!!!.

What's the series stand at?

They are currently tied at two a piece. Back in Boston. They did not look so good Saturday from what I heard. Yet since I did not watch that must have been the reason they did not do well :) At leats I like to think so. Should be a good series but I think thye have a good chance to go to the Cup finals first time since I think 86 or so when they lost to that anazing Oilers team.

How are things going on the Cape? Ramping up for the summer season?

Yeah that (87-88) series was the actual last time I followed them

Yeah, a lot of kegs and college and Janney-Joyce-Neely SCORE! LOL Good times ..good times ....

Anyway, the Cape is ready. Been a cold and rainy few weekends, but we have our fingers crossed for Memorial day. I hav a feeling that we will benefit from higher prices, since we have a lot of folks relatively closeby who want more than a 'staycation' this year but no big bucks.

Plus, the Canadian dollar is riding high, eh? Polish up the high-school French and make way for the Kaybeckers!

AH, that was a good season except for the end. Bruins are looking good Tim Thomas was standing on his head tonight some amazing saves and they won tonight one more win and they are into the Cup Finals.

So what do you do for work down on the Cape if you don't mind me asking? I hope the weather holds up for us for Memorial Day myself.

:-D wow :-D

I am hessian :-)
the menue would be much the same in a place like this
The most typical hessian food on it iis the Kassler Rippchen with Sauerkraut (you MUST eat that on January 1. or you will go broke in the new year - my grandma really belived that)
It would be hard to find so many beers in one place over here, usually a brewery sponsors a restaurant or bar and you only get their beer, means you just order Pils or Hefe and get the house-joice.
i would recomend an Erdinger Hefeweizen or an Uerige Alt

Cool!

I was going to say that it's probably not the second choice -- but I've seen it too often. Apparently they think that it's better to deal with a crying and screaming child than it would have been to give the child a few extra minutes on the phone. And like they are sticking it to you. (I'd be so sarcastic with them to the point of being nasty if it were me.)
Good luck, there really is no good solution. :( Some people just do not get it.
Thanks guys. Sometimes it just helps to know I'm not the only one who runs into these horrid people. As much as I want to give her a piece of my mind, I know that my time is better spent on helping Bryce since he's gonna need a lot of attention after a day like that. I really hope she doesn't try to talk to me though. I'm not sure I can make that will save.

So he started a thread called "forums are way too long."

We're on the 6th thread. After a while they reach critical mass and threaten to damage the internet, and then the lolcats and facebook would cease to be.

So we name them. We name them funny things.

Deep six means to throw something away.

I didn’t start posting to FAWTL until about number 5, but I remember seeing the original post of the ‘Forums are way too long’ thread and thinking ‘uh oh, this is going to be ‘penultimate’ or ‘marzipan’ all over again’ ... as it turns out it turned into something way better than either of those threads.

I think I might've posted in the original, way back when, but I wasn't a regular then at all. I wasn't a regular really until the 4th one was coming to a close. Or was it the third? Jeez, I can't even remember now. :(
