For once, I actually ate a breakfast item for breakfast. It was a left over biscui from yesterday morning! Go me!

AAAARRRRRRRRRGH!!!

Still, there is ice.... Soon Texas will succumb....

Scarab Sages

Nekkid breakfast! Just as long as you're not frying bacon, you'll be ok.

I think you're gonna need help with the Wunian if you want to get Texas. Try getting some more New Yorkers involved. All of them. Might drop us a degree or 3.

Only for like a day, though. Then it'll drop back down to our normal winter temps with highs in like the 50s.

And now, my beloved future Horde members, I must away! There are oily and gassy things to be done!!!

I'll still take it! I'm an autumn lover, 50-70 is amazing.

He's Mister Green Christmas, he's Mister Sun.

He's Mister Heat Blister, he's Mister Hundred and One.
They call me Heat Miser, whatever I touch
Starts to melt in my clutch.
He's too much.
(Thank you.)

I never want to know a day that's under sixty degrees,
I'd rather have it eighty, ninety, one hundred degrees!

Oh, some like it hot, but I like it really hot!

It is -9 here (-22 or so for you metric weirdos). Without considering wind chill.

Let's see if we can get a petition started to take all the winter weather he loves so darned much and dump it all over Freehold.

Then he can have his stupid frostbite weather, and I can feel my hands again.

I am hoping that positive degree high in the forecast comes true.

Stupid rain and fifty degree high.... Doesn't anyone know it's winter?

sharing is the reason for the season! I can't hoard all of winter for myself.

Sorry. Sixty degree high. Someone's going to get sick because of this.

You'll be happy to know it's only going to hit 34 here and then drop to 7 overnight.

The high for today is forecast at -9 (-23 for you celsifreaks). I hate you Freehold.

Single digit lows today and tomorrow. Back into sensible 50s highs/30s lows by the weekend though.

No, you didn't. You just found my biggest pet peeve in the entire internet. I HATE FIFY. Angers me to no end. Yes I know it's normally meant as a joke; it's a tired, overdone, and overall BAD one. It's not clever, it's not funny, it's nothing but annoying and condescending, because it's essentially telling the person "I know better than you what you think, what you want, what you meant to say".

Ahhh, but you are the one championing the winter. You have, by taking up its banner, made yourself into a scapegoat. Your only recourse is to recant by saying "Gee, I sure like winter, but it's okay if other people don't! I hope things get better."

I liked what you did for me, in issue 5.

Aw! Thank you! I stayed up until 3 a.m. to get it done the day before (Of, I guess...) my family arrived for their holiday visit. Hopefully it wasn't too late. I can't believe I just dropped that ball!

Yeesh, looking like a good thing I quit the voter discussion threads a while back.

It's okay if others don't like winter! But my version of things getting better is a world apart from theirs. The most I can say to remain true to myself while wishing those who dislike winter well is that I hope winter continues on and makes way for spring when the time comes.

Hi everyone,

Marlon now shares his room in the "premature baby ward" with another baby - named: Marlon Schmidt !!!!
two premature born boys with the same first and lastname in 3 days !!!!!!!

we now have to write birthdate on every item and the trainee nurse already brought the wrong mothers milk bottle to our son :-/ luckily we where observant, now the milk warmers for the two are in different rooms

and my boy has NOT been the first baby of the years in the hospital, and NOT the ifrst in our 3500 people village

both honors go to the same boy: Ben, the son of our polish green-grocer,
*shakes fist*
they got a big article in the local newspaper with family picture, the last sentence was: "and by the way: another boy from the same village was born in the hospital the same day"
