Scarab Sages

I actually had to ask a few of the designers to stop calling me "sir". We're all professionals, no need to do that.

I'm still having trouble with the new IT guy, though. He's young, and keeps calling me sir.

Scarab Sages

Nekkid workplace salutations?!? Awkward!

Scarab Sages

All right FAWTLY Folk! I believe it's time for me to fly! Later!

Might just be politeness, I know I always refer to people older than me (and sometimes younger, as the situation demands, such as a formal location like work) as sir/ma'am just because I've been taught all my life that it's the polite thing to do. It's a tough habit to break even when the person in question wants the interaction to be more casual.

Rappan Athuk!

No. I have in my possession Rappan Athiuk, the Dungeon of Grave, Hardback edition and it's quite lethal. I have the itch the run a mega-dungeon after New Years's.

For a mibute there I thought you had the actual key. I was gonna head your way and teleport to golarion with you to have an adventure. I was gonna kidnap CH and bring him with me too!

I wonder what to do with one idea...

Kingmaker Spoiler, Players Keep Out:
...since I created a daughter for Phomandala that happened to get lost on the Material Plane and then kidnapped by the cultists of Gyronna alongside a Changeling friend of hers. I have the changeling's stats more or less figured out, but since Phomandala is a Saurian Medusa infused with Jabberwock blood as well as a Sorceress of the Fey bloodline, I figured I'd make her daughter a Sorceress as well. Only problem is, should her bloodline be Draconic or Fey? I've considered other options as well.

Sleepy, been kinda sleepy all week.

It's put a dent to writing, but I plan to fix that.

You described my last month. With the addition that despite being sleep I can't sleep either because of distractions or because of back and headaches popping here and there.

** spoiler omitted **

Spoiler:
I'd go with Draconic - Red would get them the fire-based powers they'd need, but appearance-wise their traits would be more Jabberwock-y. Green scales, burbling bits when she talks (maybe trade one of the bloodline abilities for a reduced version of the Jab's Burble?), hair and eyebrows gain those tendril-y mustache-y things the Jab has, etc.

Mostly because there's plenty of Fey and fey-bloodlined creatures around in this LP, while the dragons - while many - are notably fewer.

for a group of animals that may not be as smart as we think they are, they sure look pretty f$!*ing smug... what do they know that we dont?

Don't think that link goes where it's supposed to go FHDM.

The link leads to the newssite but it seems that specific story is accessed through java script and got lost in the flow of newer stories... Or something like that.

*Good suggestion*

Spoiler:
That would work, yeah. I imagined her as being shy as well as rather insecure (and not evil), and having burbly speech (assuming she might just have her speech randomly start to burble) would just reinforce the timidness in her. Hopefully the players realize that she has no intentions of harming them whatsoever. On the contrary, she'd probably be afraid of them hurting her more than vice versa. Either way, if they intend to hurt her, they'd have to get through her changeling friend, who is Chaotic Good and very protective of her.

Back to family stuff. Home health car visit and lawyer trip today.

Take care.

Should be fixed.

Silver Crusade

Afternoon, all. What did I miss?

Silver Crusade

Tonight will be my third Christmas party in as many days. My liver hates me.

Silver Crusade

Also, between tonight and tomorrow morning, I MUST write out my Christmas cards. If they bear Saturday's post mark, they just might be delivered by Christmas Eve.

And I should probably get something to eat between the F5-presses. Hadn't had anything except a cup of tea since I had breakfast... :O ...17 hours ago. o.O

Which seems to mess up my ability to stick to one tense in sentences... Grumble!

Nope. Not yet.

With.

You'll live. Tea with sugar can sustain one for a long-long time if needed.

In my youth while traveling Europe with nothing but a backpack and a Eurail pass for 7 weeks I lived for 3 days on a bag of peanuts and some mustard packets.

Ah, the good old days!

Build volume is about a 100mm cube (4 inch cube).

Silver Crusade

So you can make a D6

I could make a big damn d6.

In fact, I am now about halfway through printing a 30mm d6. Just for the hell of it.

Only if I suddenly became an expert digital sculptor.

Howdy folks and other monstrosities.

Scarab Sages

Good morning FAWTLY Folk! Happy Saturday. We had a good night, and so far a good morning. I got up earlier with the boy and we've been chillin, watching Toy Story (hard to believe that movie's nearly 20 years old).

Now the wife and daughter are out here with us. Baby Katie's kind of/sort of awake. And Charlie's loving on his sister and "playing" with her.

Scarab Sages

Craptastic weather today. Lots of rain so far. Might put a damper on certain efforts.

Scarab Sages

We were gonna take the kids for a picture with Santa Claus yesterday, but Charlie refused to nap and then acted like a whiny little b~@&% all afternoon, so we skipped.

Depending on how the weather looks for the rest of the weekend, we may try again today or tomorrow.

Most likely tomorrow. I think there's supposed to be less rain then.

Scarab Sages

My mom and dad were staying with us for this last week, but for the weekend they went over to my older brother's house. Mom has said she wants to stay through Christmas, though. We think she thinks it might be the last one for my dad.

Still, methinks it's gonna be a good Christmas. Can't wait to see how my boy reacts this year.
