Scarab Sages

Walking Dead continues to kick ass.

Scarab Sages

Nekkid ass kicking!!!!

That was a close call.

Scarab Sages

WTF?!? The time on our work computers and phones was moved back an hour - no problem there. You'd think, however, they could have at least corrected the 4 minute discrepancy that's been affecting the system for around month now! Come on people!!

Scarab Sages

Our IT dudes are kind of douchey, though. Except the new guy. He's just too damn nice - something's wrong.

Scarab Sages

All right my brethren. Time to to fill the lives of those around me with joy and wonder.

Or, you know, madness and despair. I'm good either way.

Madness & Despair for them, joy & wonder for you. Perfect option.

CH, sorry to hear about the dog's passing.

So it's a new week, time for some fun & games. Last night's D&D game was hilarious and brilliant - so hopefully this week will be too.

The festival I went to on Saturday was really good. Though the line-up wasn't as strong as last year, they had a whole room of doom. Which I somehow didn't spend that much time in. The second stage (of 4) was mediocre for sound quality and poor for circulation but I heard Negura Bunget there. Absolutely amazing band, highlight of the festival and possibly my musical year.

I've been wondering if Turma is a good dragon's name. What do you think?

Turma seems to mean something fitting for the character in Latin as well as in Finnish.

It might need a title to go with it but it's not a bad start.

Turma the Winged Dread, perhaps?

Works for me =)

What kind of dragon is it?

An old dragon that had ruled over a region as a dictator of sorts until he got beaten down by an equally ambitious (and somewhat less evil) warlord. If we go by D&D terms, he'd be a Green Dragon stat-wise (and scale color), but has a Red Dragon's breath attack. So more in lines with the classic medieval depictions of dragons if I'm not mistaken.

I love the winged dread name.Is it common knowledge that turma has this unique breath weapon? cause I see many interesting rp opportunities

Maybe he hasn't adjusted yet...

I might go to work on Wednesday for 9-10 hours of sanitizing the factory. We'll see. Getting up around 4 will be hell, though.

I get up at 3 A.M. You'll live.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

You call that living?!

Also, I am an owl. 3 AM is closer to my time to go to bed than getting up.

Hey, I get the evenings off. Puppy play and television, evening dinners and all that good stuff.

I've been at work for half an hour by 3 AM.

NIIIIBLE! LEAVE ORIFICE ALONE!

You get time off, consider yourself lucky

I'm sitting in a cab by 4:30. Usually five days a week, sometimes six.

Could be that people know something makes him different, but I'm pretty sure the truth's been obscured behind lies he himself has tossed around as rumours.

Good morning FAWTLY Folk! Decidedly not happy Tuesday. I continue to feel blah! And we have what appears to be a mostly all day long meeting on the schedule today. I'm sure the client will b!@!% about us not getting thigs done fast enough while we sit in this meeting....not getting anything done.

Scarab Sages

At least, that's the way it feels.

Scarab Sages

Just to demonstrate how blah I feel - I actually went to be BEFORE 10 pm last night.

That's when you know something's wrong.

I'm kind of tired myself. Sleep cycle's been a total mess, and inspiration hasn't been coming to me today.

While I manage to tackle one problem in making a story, another two pop up to replace it, which is rather annoying.

Scarab Sages

On the other hand, I did get my Bestiary 4 yesterday, plus a copy of Towns of the Inner Sea. So there's a reason for at least one Huzzah!

Scarab Sages

It's very difficult to be my happy go lucky self, bringing joy to all around me, when I feel craptastic.

Kingmaker got cancelled again. It's been at least a month since the last session, and that's another reason to feel annoyed.

Hugs your way, bro.

Scarab Sages

All right, done for now. Try to have a better day than me, my FAWTLY brethren.

Thanks for reminding me! adds pdfs

Yep, crashed about 10:50 here instead of my usual midnight. Felt absolutely lousy starting around 9:30.

Got woke up around 4 by a nasty bout of tinnitus, but otherwise slept great.

kajehase, cyclists and cabbies have been at war since time immemorable! No comisserating with the enemy!

Is the ancient feud between the cabbies and the cyclists about to reignite after decades of simmering, putrescent stagnation? Stay tuned, citizens.

But for now, let's have a look at traffic.

Eh, we've got designated bike-paths in Sweden, so we're cool with each other 'round these parts.

The big enemy of Swedish bicyclists is old ladies who let their dogs stretch the leash right across the road.

Not at work today and almost certainly not yet at work tomorrow.

There were also some mess with my father's work today - he got a message that he is needed today, then almost immediately he got a message that he is not and sometime later a phone call that he should come (to a different part of the factory, though). All after yesterday he asked for extra hours or at least steady work.

"Never assume anything, Gisbourne! Except, occasionally, an air of intelligence."

"I have to attend a Hundred-court in two days time, I'm supposed to attend six hangings on Thursday, and my mother's coming for the weekend."

"No wonder his coat of arms is a rampant boar."

"Stop playing around in the mud. You look like a decaying duck."

*Guy of Gisbourne puts his sword against the Sheriff of Nottingham's throat*
Guy of Gisbourne: I can arrange it.
Sheriff of Nottingham: What do you think you're wearing Gisbourne? You look absurd.

* Gisbourne sheathes his sword*
Guy who looks like a mix between a Sioux and a Pict: Join us. Join us or die.
Sheriff of Nottingham: We-ell. You don't give me any choice in the matter, do you? Because I have no intention of capering about in a wolf-skin with a gang of demented savages!

Great scene...

And great sheriff.

Somehow I managed a 95% on my programming midterm. Now all that is left is the final.

Good going.

Nothing written today... Laptop ssssllllooowwwnnneeesss makes doing anything on it tedious experience. Even opening a tab with messageboard post in addition to Google Docs is so disheartening...

Going to sleep soon.

I have to write a cause and effect paper for my composition class.

My topic is 'causes for Paizo publishing the Pathfinder RPG'. :)
