*hugs* I'm so sorry to hear that, Freehold. If anybody deserves good luck, it's you. Hang in there.

Morning, all. What did I miss?

Well, Scott's visit to Japan took a turn for the bizarre when he assisted a bus load of possible ninja with a dead battery. Meanwhile, Max's attempts to cheer Gary up inadvertently caused the entire city of New York to blackout for 15 seconds. And, across town, Mike and Jess mistakenly bribed......No, wait! That's my soap opera!

Two posts into my PbP and I've already broken the paladin.

Scint says I did. Post one was describing the bad things happening to the local villagers. Post two was the bad things happening to their animals. Party's en-route to investigate.

We cannot be broken!

As if the villagers suffering wasn't enough. Those poor poor animals! I can't help that I care!

Hey, look, a shiny thing.

Shiny? Where?!

And now that I've distracted myself thoroughly with everything on the internet, I should probably get back to making sure CoT is prepped. Yay for surprise day off, I guess.

3 minutes left to end of the Monday.

I was planing to call my father with birthday wishes after returning from the session. My mother smsed me asking if I had forgotten - I replied with sms of my own that I remember and will be calling them on Skype in the evening. When I was going back to home I got another sms from mother that father already went to sleep because he was tired after work and she is going to sleep too... If I knew I would call earlier from my phone, roaming charge for calling to England be damned. I'll try to catch father tomorrow before he goes to work.

Good luck! Family can be touchy about these things.

Work is going well.

Hell, yeah... :(

On unrelated note, when I returned home I discovered that girl (well, technically woman, but she is six years younger than me) I would not expect to do so invited me for a New Year's Eve LARP on facebook (made by some other distant friends of mine). The two primary problems: (I) I care little for LARPs (and yet some people insist on inviting me to them... own two Fading Suns LARPS, not without nepotic patronage of LARP's GMs and they will try to make you LARP animal, duh) and (II) the only way to pay entry fee would be not paying internet last month bill AND spending the money I have left for this week for food or not paying this week rate of late housing bills.

At least today session went good and no one tried to kill each other. Of course the party scum again killed the evil mutant heretic... Really I should go with initial plane of making a sniper instead of Moritat swordmaster.

Gah. Cold bedroom floor is cold. This is not making it easier to get up and go to work.

Nyaah! Nyaah! I got my own jetpack!!

I only slept for about 4 hours. However, me being awake again is giving a room service person time to come in and straighten up. Plus I ate lunch. But it's almost 1300 now, and I'm gonna have to try and get a bit more sleep.

Scarab Sages

The future's so bright, I gotta eat some poor bastard who has shades, just so I can wear them.

Okay. Today wasn't so bad. Almost back to normal.

~screams~ AHHHH!!!!! A zombie!

~turns to run~ AHHHHH!!!!! A Freehold DM!!! ~runs~

If you eat dragon brain, you find out where they keep the hoard.

~looks back as I run and taunts FHDM~ You will never find my hoard, Sucke---- ~screams as I fall down a hole~

The best thing on Swedish TV right now is Danish! :O

Even the theme song is good.

Scarab Sages

AAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGHHHHH!!!! Too much noise!

Scarab Sages

Had a really good steak sammich for lunch today, with red onion & pickles, and a side of fries. Tonight for dinner - maybe a rotisserie chicken and rice bowl. Or Popeyes. Or a Subway sammich. I'm flexible.

Scarab Sages

Made the mistake of showing my lead contractor the bag of beef jerky I had. Of course, I then was guilted into sharing.

Scarab Sages

I've heard say "sharing is caring", but to me it just means I get less beef jerky.

Stoopid purple dinosaur.

Scarab Sages

Damnit! Gotta put ear plugs in. I hate these f!%*ing things.

Scarab Sages

I really should do stuff.

Scarab Sages

Weird. Some threads seem to be completely disappearing on me. Even if I click to "unhide" the hidden threads. Not that I'll complain too much, since some of the ones disappearing are douchey polititroll threads, but the Overheard in the Paizo Offices thread has vanished on me!

Scarab Sages

Belay my last. Figured out I must have accidentally hit the Focus feature.

I'm stuffed, food at work was great this time =3=

Darn, cold kept me awake all last night and when I phoned in sick discovered no-one was in the office this afternoon. Now to try and feel better to head in and cover.

First CoT session last night. This is going to be a beautiful trainwreck.

What makes you say that? XD

Up and running after a good night's sleep. Today should be more normal. Will post later. Keep your fingers crossed for me.
