So, I didn't get the job at the tiny firm, but now there is yet another company calling me. I don't even remember applying for this job, but it pays rather well. It seems like it could involve dealing with a lot of the same BS I get now, but we'll see what they have to say.

Silver Crusade

Well that's no way to dress for an interview.

hi everyone,

Curious. What language do you all use?

english of course,

the braszilians in fact do know a bit of german

there are a bunch of french and italians as well, and one from india, no one from a country with english as first language in fact, so a wild mix of dialects, wrong grammar and wild guessing of words :-)

I had a feeling.

I once helped mediate a conversation between a Chinese tourist and an Italian shopkeeper who were struggling in broken English. I could tell they were both getting really frustrated, and having a native English speaker helped.

That's awesome! Hope gp guys have a wonderful time working together, and I hope you have drinks tomorrow.

I was about to ask what positions you were looking for at the firm.

Depends, was it for a male revue?

Has anyone else here heard of Lindsey Stirling? She is freaking amazing! Why wasn't I told about her before yesterday!?

She is indeed awesome. I've known about her for... almost a year now I think? I can't remember if it was Scint or one of the guys on my NWN server who introduced me to her stuff.

No you don't. I decree that you pass, and must while away my birthday doing other things.

Ok, I'll watch Firefly.

I'd have to lay off the doughnuts for that, and then I'd be a sad angel.

So called "hip hop" violin, she plays wonderfully, but the part that got me is she does so while dancing ballet. And she's cute, so there is that. :P

In fact I showed that video to my Pathfinder group telling them that the she would make a wonderful representation of the party's Bard if the PC's father was a Wild/Wood Elf (he's Sun Elf, however).

And yes, she's cute.

Yum - another batch of minced meat, pea and carrot stew.

I wouldn't call this hip hop by any standard, but it is kinda weird and interesting and she is somewhat cute. Not my type, however.

So sick.

You learn something new every day...

"Although everything was spinning perilously, I tried to start in the right direction and hack my way ahead. My route must have been far from straight, for it seemed hours before I was free of the mirage-plant's pervasive influence. Gradually the dancing lights began to disappear, and the shimmering spectral scenery began to assume the aspect of solidity. When I did get wholly clear I looked at my watch and was astonished to find the time was only 4:20."

Day at work started off on the wrong foot.

Meh, but I keep getting closer to the weekend.

*Lots of swearing, rage and gibberish*

Why are these idiots not buying when I offer the cheapest deals?!

Damned idiots, I need to make a living!! YOU DON'T LOSE YOUR HOUSE OVER 20 DAMNED EUROS!!!

...sorry, work not going as well as I'd hoped.

Luck took a turn, so I feel better now. Also, I wish I could continue one random Pathfinder campaign my pal ran.

I got to play as a Holstaur Cleric of Zon-Kuthon, and she's just as crazy as she's awesome, and cute in a freaky way.

I just got reminded of an idea on another thread. I still wonder whether to make a Kitsune Sorcerer or a Bard.

*yawn* It's 14:05 already? I am feeling like it was eight and want to get to bed. *yawn again*

I vote for Sorcerer, it is closer to the original idea I have in my head for Kitsune.

Actually, I thought either Rogue (for the archetype) or Sorcerer. Bard was sort of in between the two.

I also wonder if I should drop the joke I had in mind for said character. XD

It happens if I get nap in the evening or if I go to sleep before 23 (if I go to sleep after 23 I'll probably be still awake by midnight).

So the new Dresden book comes out today. I'm picking up my copy on the way home from work this afternoon.

Scint however got hers on Kindle and already has started reading it, and is taunting me with snippets.

Aaaaargh why is it not 5 PM yet

Cool!
