first New York (hopefully meeting with Freehold DM and Celestial Healer) then flight to Seattle for Paizocon and whale watching then we drive through the olympic peninsula, the cascade range, Oregon and northen California then we fly back home from San Francisco

t mobile sucks. I would say sprint has been worth the money so far, and verizon was wonderful with their pre pay plan.

Well, two WONDERFUL customer support people have (partially)redeemed T-Mobile. My data plan issues have been fixed and they added the smartphone protection plan that should have been added from the beginning. Plus, both the wonderful ladies spoke ENGLISH and understood where I was coming from and what I was needing help with.
Moorluck and Solnes also send their condolences too.

It is a good place in Chinatown you can go to enjoy video games, now you can play pinball, music and other things. I will check it out first, but it should be fun. If not, there is a tea house across the street we can go to, as well as explore the rest of Chinatown itself.
I will *attempt *to bring my wife, she can be a bit twitchy about meeting new people.
Just got back from taking the kidlet to the doctor. He has strep throat. At least we caught it early.

It's one of those days at work. Just had a heart to heart with supervisor and some things are more clear, but I'm not satisfied with some of her views on things - I'm afraid we are either at an impasse or cross purposes. And as much as I love the office hours at the second job, I think I may have made a mistake the last time in the office. I'm trying to get more info, but I'd rather make it any mistakes than be made to learn from them...

My first unofficial kiss and girlfriend were in pre k. Her name was Alexis, and I always helped her with her coat when she visited. The staff and classmates would ooooo at us constantly. I remember clearly making out with her in the closet. Ah, young love...

She was a loving, beautiful girl, and was growing into a bright, stunning young woman. I didn't get to spend a lot of time with her (geography being what it is, and complicated family relationships being complicated), but I spent enough time with her to know that she was a wonderful girl. I wish I understood what happened, and I wish I had the ability to retroactively fix the things in her life that led her down the path she took.

Lindisty, I am very sorry for your loss. I understand very well how geography limits the means to be able to know other family members a bit more personable than how things tend to turn out. It is something I tend to go through time and again with my father's side of my family as he never got around to having my brother and I interact with them much in our youth to grow some sort of a sentimental attachment to them when the loss manifests itself in ways you're unprepared for. And sometimes, people need to handle it in any way that best suits their nature. Which is why I was thankful that when I was up in Detroit last November that E7 was kind enough to collect me from the hotel I was staying at for several hours that evening the day before the funeral.

I walked into a FLGS this afternoon and looked at the meetup board there.
There was a very long advertisement posted, printed and formed to look like a handwritten scroll. One of the points listed was 'if you write or speak in l33t, don't bother'.
The e-mail at the bottom was 'g33k4l1f3@yahoo.com'.
