Fell's Five are the protagonists or the new monthly D&D comic book. I want to use them in Pathfinder, so I started converting them. First up is Tisha Swornheart, a tiefling warlock. Since warlock does not exist in Pathfinder I decided to go with an Infernal bloodline sorcerer instead. To simulate the warlock's eldritch blast I decided to have her focus on rays as much as possible.

Tisha is on a quest. Many years ago her sister was taken by slavers and Tisha is determined to find her. To this end she learned to tap into the infernal power that is her birthright, even though she feels uneasy about doing so and worries about losing her soul in the process. She became a member of Fell's Five after the band rescued her from a group of gnoll slavers that were about to sell her to a black dragon. Almost immediately after joining the group became the victim of circumstances beyond there control and now Tisha and the others are hunted fugitives seeking the answers to a mystery, answers that may just be enough to clear their name.

Bree Three-Hands is pretty much your standard halfling thief, or at least that is what she wants you to believe. For some reason she has problems with tieflings as a race and thinks they are all evil. She is also not above accusing paladins of animating zombies to teach her not to annoy them.

Bree Three-Hands is a sort of enigma. Although she is Adric Fell's oldest companion in Fell's Five; she is also the one that he trusts the least. He only keeps her around so that he can keep an eye on her and prevent her from working against him. She is primarily a thief and is suspect in numerous assaults and robberies. In many respects she appears to be the stereotypical halfling thief, and that is just the way she wants it. Beneath her charming wit and flippant attitude Bree has a secret agenda. Not even her own teammates know what it is or what it might mean for them in the future.

Adric Fell is the leader of Fell's Five. He is by far the most fun character I have seen in the series so far and the most complex.

Adric Fell

Languages: Common, Orc
Combat Gear: Potion of Cure Moderate Wounds; other gear: +2 chain mail, heavy steel shield, +1 scimitar, other gear and coins worth 200 gp
Adric Fell is the leader of Fell's Five. He is a veteran of the last border war against the orcs, where he was commanded by Copernicus Jinx, a gnomish wizard. During the same period he fell in love with Juliana, Jinx's elven apprentice. There is some indication that Adric was an officer during the war. After the war, he became an independent adventurer, and on a few occasions he may have even been a pirate. He has an antagonistic relationship with the sheriff of Fallcrest, but is on better terms with the lord of the region.

Excellent work, David. Excellent.

More like Charisma 19...YUM.

Yeah she would have had a higher charisma if I had not been using a modified heroic array for stats and the Tiefling as PCs material in the Bestiary.

Khal is my other favorite in the group. Partly this is because I have personally never seen a dwarven paladin before. The other part is that he is so interesting with his little quirks like deciding that his girlfriend does not love him anymore because she wrote him a letter that was only 100 pages that it is almost impossible not to like him. In the comic Khal is a paladin of Moradin, but I used Torag to keep with only using crunch from the core rulebook. Since that does not affect much with paladins, feel free to switch him back if you like.

Khal Khalundurrin

LG medium humanoid (dwarf)
Init: +0, Senses: Darkvision 60 ft, Perception +1

Immune to Disease and Fear

Khal is a paladin of Torag and left his clanhold for love. In order to marry the woman of his dreams he must first rise to a high enough station to be acceptable to her family. However, her family of merchants has little use for religion and so Khal wanders the world ministering to other dwarves, searching for ancient artifacts, and seeking to amass enough gold to provide a proper dowry. He has also gained some renown as a poet among his people, although most other races tend not to get dwarven poetry. Khal has a tendency to over react to things; once he decide his intended no longer loved him because she only sent him a 100 page letter. He also has an appreciation for fine craftsmanship, which he invariably declares to be "dwarven work."

One thing: on all the characters except for Khal I forgot to give them favored class hit points. you should do that before you use them.

Just in case you were wondering where the final member of fell's Five is; he is no longer missing in action.

Varis hates the forest. Make no mistake; he is a very good ranger. He just really, really likes pubs, songs, inns, buildings, and cats. He is convinced that cities are natural outgrowths of nature and that they have just as much to offer in terms of wonder and variety as the forests they are built near. The primary reason that Varis adventures is to see new towns. He fights with a set of handaxes that cut through flesh and bone as easily as they cut through wood.
