[4WFG] BoAM at 500!

Product Discussion

We have now sold 500 total copies of The Book of Arcane Magic - 200 print and 300 PDF. Thanks so much to everyone who purchased the book! We certainly hope you are enjoying using it in your Pathfinder games!

Note - the 500 sold does not reflect comp copies, contributor copies or PDF copies that were part of the Haiti Earthquake Relief bundle at DTRPG earlier this year.

If you haven't checked out The Book of Arcane Magic yet, now is a good time, as all products - PDF and print - in our catalog are 25% off until the end of October!

Now that's a milestone!

I like my (print & PDF combo) copy that I picked up. Thanks for the nice product.

Congratulations.

Very nice. Congratulations! 500 is a pretty darned good number for a 3PP I think...I'll be happy if I can do 20% of that with something I publish. Wish you continued success.

Thanks, Dark Mistress!

Thanks, Mearrin! It's by far better than we expected we'd do after just 14 months since the book's release.

Hunter, it does not surprise me one bit. BOAM is very well written with a lot of cool adventure/cmapiagn hooks in it. Flavor wise it is at least as good as some of the Paizo stuff.

Wow! That's high praise. Thank you very much, and we're glad you enjoy it!

Congrats, I only have one book that out sells that in PDF (Feats 101, but we did not do the print push you did so you might beat us over all, I will have to check.)

That's a very nice milestone, for a start up.

Thanks, Steve! It really isn't possible for me to put into words exactly what this milestone means for us. I'm just stunned, to be honest.

I've got a hard copy of this and a PDF. Very glad I did. Do you have a follow-up planned? Maybe with prestige classes or alternate class features? Maybe some new monsters that use the spells as spell-like abilities?

Glad you enjoy the book! We don't have a specific sequel to this book planned, but for prestige classes and/or alternate class features you should check out our Paths of Power and Strategists & Tacticians. Paths of Power has several new base classes, NPC classes and prestige classes, and Strategists & Tacticians has several alternate class features and prestige classes.

As for monsters that use spells/spell-like abilities from BoAM, it is likely that some of the creatures in our forthcoming Tome of Monsters will have some.
