Rebooting The Time Tunnel

Got tired of waiting and decided to email abc and suggest the following:

secret history:

TIME TUNNEL REBOOT (4 hour long Event): Temporal Physicists test out their awesome new technology when Osama Bin Laden and a band of Terrorists and Technicians with Suitcase Nukes hits the facility and taking them into the Past vanish into the past. Osama Assassinates George Washington at the Age of Twelve and Nukes a pre American Revolution New York setting in motion an Alternate History World where the Islamic States come out of the Holy Wars with Suitcase Nukes and Technicians making them the centre of all future Technological Advance.

Hate me later after they mess it up.

When I saw this thread, all I thought about was using the time tunnel to end Joss Whedon's career before it began. You have ruined time travel for me.

Actually a time tunnel reboot could be cool.

Not YD's plot but the idea is generally sound. I would love to see them take it out of Mothballs to see if there is any salvaging of the project, after it being deemed too dangerous, only to find out that they are living in an alternate reality caused by the people who closed it down. Now they have to reactivate it as a rouge element to set right what those who are in power once changed.

over the course of the show you could slowly find out that they are not living in our world, but a slightly different one that was caused by all these subtle changes.

While I want good writers on the show Joss should not be near it. I do not want manic teen girls with super powers duking it out over time.

Still it should have ramifications: Every Disease you will ever suffer is a consequence of CHange in possibility. So someone somewhere and somewhen is manipulating possibility for their own ends. And causing it all to go to crap. Even if that someone is a Bacteria under a rock.
