With something like that, I think it's more going to depend on the comfort-level of your playing group rather than any real rules against it. As a GM, I, for one, wouldn't care much about it unless you start getting graphic with me and my other players; at that point it usually starts getting uncomfortable.
But let me ask you this; why? What is the roleplaying reason for you to want to play a character like that? If you have a compelling story that involves the trait, sure, but if you're only going for shock value / gross-out factor, then yeah. No.

Technically, I almost wound up with a character like that thanks to the Tiefling Random Traits chart in Pathfinder #25.
At first I was like, "okay....well...treating this as something other than a fetish character could lead to an interesting personality. How he/she identifies, etc..."
Then I kept rolling and got "chicken feet", "obese", and "slimy skin" on top of that.
When I said I could only voice that character like Jabba the GM let me just pick my traits like I originally hoped.

I second this, if only because I'm as curious as Golden here is about this, and because I'd kick you out of my table if I were DM and you just wanted to shock and gross out the others at the table, including me. And personally, I understand the roleplay potential of a gender-confused hermaphrodite, but futanari (which is more of a fetish and less an RP aspect IMO) kind of disturbs and disgusts me, but that's just my opinion. To each his own.
Also, to James. Who's idea / creation is Tsukiyo? That deity has been as much a surprise to me with his domains and concept as the Sun domain Nurgal has, and I mean that IN A GOOD WAY!! And now that I mentioned Nurgal, why are most of the Mesopotamian deities Demon Lords (or just plain Evil) in D&D and Pathfinder? Lastly, where are all the Celtic deities like Morrighan? I know the Seelie and/or Eldest and the Fey are related to that.

I have a few questions about the Advanced Race Guide:
- Will there be alternate Vital Statistics for the core races (especially for normal sized elves)?
I know something like that is exceedingly easy to houserule, but something official would be nice.
- Why do the elemental blooded races (ifrit, oread, sylph and undine) have so low RP numbers (5-7 vs 10 for most other standard races)? And why is there such a large discrepancy even among them (5 for oread, 6 for ifrit/sylph and 7 for undine)? Will the ARG contain "standardized" versions of these and the other expanded races (ie with an RP score of exactly 10)?

The rules for Inappropriately Sized Weapons say: A creature can’t make optimum use of a weapon that isn’t properly sized for it. Acumulative –2 penalty applies on attack rolls for each size category of difference between the size of its intended wielder and the size of its actual wielder. If the creature isn’t proficient with the weapon, a –4 nonproficiency penalty also applies.
So, Can a human really wield a colossal great axe (8d6 damage), since it suffer a -8 penalty?
Seems ridiculous... but the Titan Mauler have the Massive Weapons in the UC, so, I just can imagine that is this, or the archetype need to be revisited...

Sea Sprites were wingless sprites with light blue skin and dark green hair and stood around 1'-1'6"tall, could detect good/evil, cast 3/day slow by touch, 1/day airy water(I remembder this spell) and could become invisible but I think underwater only.

In any case, music on Golarion depends VERY MUCH on the region and the culture. I do know that there are pianos on Golarion... they're pretty much where the state-of-the-art in musical instruments is at. But as for what it sounds like...yeah, depends on the region and the culture.
Actually, it's not a topic that would make a good Golarion day post for 2 reasons:
1) I don't have a lot of time to do Golarion day posts, and covering something brand new that hasn't really had much of an established presence in print yet would take a lot longer than I have time to dedicate to the typical Golarion day post (you'll note that I've not been doing many of these posts at ALL of late—that's because of time restraints and other issues).
2) It's something that is bigger than a blog post, but not a topic that deserves to monopolize Golarion day posts when there's so much more we could talk about.

"Best-crafted," of course, like all art, is in the eye of the beholder.
That said, while a Valeros/Imrijka pairing isn't the one that would immediately have come to MY mind to create, were I to delve into Rule 34 based creativity... I'm not against it.

Rob McCreary wrote the entirety of the deity section. So, Tsukiyo was his idea.
As for why so many Mesopotamian deities are demon lords in D&D/Pathfinder... that's because Gygax set many of them up that way and we've just been going along with it. There are plenty of Mesopotamian deities that we HAVEN'T put into Pathfinder yet, of course... but it's true that the few we have put in are demon lords. Blame "The Exorcist" if you want.
We don't really have a big "Celtic" region in Golarion, and we've specifically avoided all Seelie/Unseelie stuff in Golarion, and so we don't really need many Celtic type deities. They're in there though if you look. Desna and Cayden Caliean have some Celtic themes to them, as do the Eldest of the First World.

I'm not working on this book, nor have I looked at it... but I suspect that...
1) No alternate vital stats for core races.
2) RP numbers are changing, first of all—we got a LOT of good feedback on the playtest. That said, NONE of the current races were built using anything similar to the race builder rules, and as such there WILL be variances among the dozens and dozens of races.
The discrepancies in the playtest were partially there to judge feedback from players as to how folks would react to the presence of discrepancies, as well.
In any event, as I said above, the race building rules have changed as a result of the playtest; be sure to check out the revised and final rules once the book's published!

Not a fan of the deathless type at all. Although we DID make Pathfinder backwards compatible for this exact reason—so 3rd edition ideas that we either can't do because they're not open content or won't do because we don't like the ideas (in which case the deathless type fits into BOTH of those categories) can still work for home games with a relatively small amount of work.

Whether or not a human could wield a colossal greataxe depends on your GM's suspension of disbelief.
Also, it's important to remember that the rules need to support more than just PC choices. It might be silly for a human to wield a colossal weapon... but it's not so silly for a rune giant to do so.

A topic about playing and/or GM'ing at different level of Point Buy and stuff (level of magic, presence or absence of magic items, etc...)
I use 15 point buy all the time. For NPCs in adventures. Thus, if you use any NPC stat block from any Paizo product, so do you.
For PCs, yes, I've built 15 point PCs. My preference is to use 20 point PCs, though... but I tend to run games where PCs are stronger than the baseline anyway. (20 point buy, more treasure, more unique powers and rewards)

I once wanted to write a novel, I wrote a prologue and posted it somewhere, I have been told to either learn proper English or stay away from writing...
Here is that Prologue:
Souls At War
- Prologue
Once upon a Time in the World of Ssyba, the different nations and their inhabitants were constantly warring for various reasons ranging from usual ones, like the resources needed and coveted by everyone, to the frivolous like having looked at a crack in one wall the wrong way.
Then one day, the mighty Emperor Tansa of Onrefni managed what seemed impossible, a World spanning truce, the nations and their survivors agreed to cease their hostilities for as long as Emperor Tansa lived.
Decades passed untill that fateful day arived, the 13th day of the 7th month of year 100 AT, Emperor Tansa died at the honorable age of 111, 1 month, 1 week, 1 day, 1 hour, 1 minute and 1 second.
Soon after, the Unholy nation of Lleh declared war on the Holy nation of Nevaeh, because, you know, they are opposites; the Terra continent declared war on the seafaring nation of Aqua because they are stealing the beach sand; the air nation of Aera declared war on the rest of Ssyba for soiling their precious air; Tom killed Bob for putting a finger on his sister Lolita; etc…
On "Year's End" of 100 AT, the World had already been plunged back into the Chaos, Hell started to break loose…

It has recently been brought to my attention that there is a pricing discrepancy between magical spell staves in the Core Rulebook and in the Advanced Player's Guide. I'm looking to find out which is correct.
Either all the published staves in the Core Rulebook are priced at twice what they should be, or all the staves in the APG are priced at half what they should be.
Which is correct?
Obviously this calls for some serious errata and clarification on an official level. To that end, I've started this thread for FAQing and discussion.
There is something seriously fishy going on with staff pricing somewhere.

Why would you do that? Making a PC is the only part of a game the PCs have control over... even if you're going to increase things, it's better to tell the players before hand so they don't feel like you're just changing things willy-nilly.

I'm not exactly sure. I like to use APs with as little on the wing modification as possible. And I like my players to feel like they are awesome. At the same time I want to be able to provide 'good' fights for them to feel challenged by. I think that perhaps I thought that by me applying the extra points they would be more awesome but not necessarily have maximally optimized abilities.
I should probably just relax and let them build with more points.
Does that make sense?

If you're worried about players "maximally optimizing" characters, just give them 20 points but tell them their stats must be a minimum of 10; that keeps them from min-maxing too much.

"Best-crafted," of course, like all art, is in the eye of the beholder.
To an extent, but some pictures display a greater degree of technical proficiency at drawing or painting than others do. That's not to say that the creators of the latter necessarily lack such skills, only that they aren't apparent in those particular works. (A particularly unsubtle example of what I mean would be a comparison between the webcomics Girl Genius and Dominic Deegan: Oracle for Hire.) The images of Valeros and Imrijka to which I referred look like professional comic-book art of the quality I'd expect to find on the cover of a mainline Marvel or DC publication, whereas the majority of fan-art I've seen looks like the work of untrained amateurs (as most of it probably is). I wasn't particularly looking for erotic fan-art when I found it, just hoping for a better portrait of Ameiko than the one in "Burnt Offerings;" I didn't find one,* but did find a whole page of thumbnails demonstrating that Pathfinder is, indeed, subject to Rule 34.
*Fortunately, Jade Regent has made solved that problem.
As for why so many Mesopotamian deities are demon lords in D&D/Pathfinder... that's because Gygax set many of them up that way and we've just been going along with it. That might have something to do with the application of modern sensibilities to deities whose worshippers practiced human sacrifice; we tend to think of any being that demands offerings of human (and especially infant human) lives as evil by definition.
AHalflingNotAHobbit wrote:2) What's the coolest idea you've ever gleaned off a video game?2) My current favorite is the relationship rules for Jade Regent.
Huh. Which video game inspired those rules? I'm rather fond of them myself; I might even try applying them to some other campaigns that involve long journeys and recurring, plot-significant NPCs, such as the War of the Lance (which I hope to run for the group I'm putting together at the moment).

I second that motion; a hardcover "Gods of Golarion" sounds like an awesome idea, especially if it expanded on the churches/temples/cults of the various gods and their roles in the different societies of the Inner Sea Region. Cleric archetypes or even divine prestige classes associated with particular deities would be welcome, too.

Hey I like the idea of "Gods of Golarion" and we can have book were the stats for there Heralds could be in one place.
You asked me if I was confusing sprite with a type of creatures not a specific one so I answered that with the much earlier post about what the sprites abilities were like before and that they were a specific creture(Sprite) and a type of creatures(Pixie, Sea Sprite, Nixie, Atomie, Grig).
I was just wondering why the sprite was so weak(CR1/3 int6/cha10) and it's invisibility at will spell power was lost?
It didn't have the natural invisibility like the Pixie and I am good with remembering my favorite monsters.
It is nice to the sprite back I just didn't want it so weak on low mental stats I mean If I am a dm I could just add the advanced monster template or modify it otherwise but when your a player it is a different story.
So what did you do on your vacation?
Do you have any new years resolutions?

You know, having those occasional 6's and 7's can really help define a character. We had a Magus with a 6 charisma, he ended up with the nickname "Mr. Spitty" (cause another player declared he was spitting when he talked) and the bear animal companion was usually trying to be more charismatic.
Having a low wisdom and intelligence is fun for a little while, but most of our players are smart, so it's hard to not come up with good ideas. (At least one of our players overcame this with "My character wouldn't think of this but...)
I just write up encounters that challenge the PC's based on their weakenesses as well as their strengths. Social interactions can be just as enjoyable as battles, if not moreso. Besides, who wants to play an average hero. 20 points is what we normally use.
Hey, question in here too. Have you ever had a character with a notable flaw based on a low stat score? How did it get handled? TELL US STORIES! I like stories....
Oh, and what's the creepiest question you've been asked?

Dear James Jacobs
Do you ever get phantom songs stuck in your head? For example, songs that you aren't listening to, but jump into your brain anyway? Care to name a few?
Yes. None come to mind right now though... which is fortunate, and I'd rather not try to recall them for obvious reasons...

Huh. Which video game inspired those rules? I'm rather fond of them myself; I might even try applying them to some other campaigns that involve long journeys and recurring, plot-significant NPCs, such as the War of the Lance (which I hope to run for the group I'm putting together at the moment).
Yup; pretty much inspired by the various Bioware RPGs, all the way back to Baldur's Gate 2, up through to Dragon Age 2. Dragon Age 2 was the most recent example in my mind at the time.
