I invinted a magical set of gloves that have a random effect. When worn, when a PC strikes a target (whether with their hand, a weapon, or even an arrow), it has one of 12 short term effects. Most notably is the chance to cause 1d6 of a random energy type of damage. One day, the part has taken a prisoner, they bury him neck deep in the ground and decided to interrigate him in the morning. The one left on watch is the PC wearing the gloves, and is down right demented. As such, he gets bored and decideds to start poking the poor man. So that is what he does, and manages to make it last for a while even. He just sits there, poking him in the head. The prisoner ends up blue&pink, covered in leaves, female, a troglydyte, and finally dies due to the energy damage. This prisoner soon got his revenge though, as he was a cleric, his goddess took offense to the callous mis-treatment of one of her own and smote down the PC. The party wakes up in the morning to find two dead troglydtes buried up to their neck in the dirt. Not knowing what was going on, or which was which, they just left them there. Moral of the story, keep your hands to yourself.

Well aren't we rather self-righteous today?
