I just had Thai last week and now I am craving it again. Thai food is some of the best.

Chicken red curry over steamed jasmine rice. I really need to find recipes for some of this stuff. make a large batch and portion it out for the week. I love the taste of the curry sauce mixed with the rice.

I am sorry I haven't had a chance to read this and review it. I am suffering from a distinct inability to manage time properly.

Me too. Who's passing this infection around? We live only a town apart. There must be a Suspect Zero as we've never had the pleasure to waltz and tango in person. I blame someone at the Armory. ;-)

Red curry...good choice. I am in the same boat. I need to hunt down some Thai recipes so I can cook them at home.

Sure...sounds good to me. :) That has to be the source.

I was supposed to be gaming tonight. Instead we're supposed to have a blustery, miserable weekend.

On the upshot, maybe I can use some of that time to plan a Ravenloft campaign.

So hubby and I are talking about trying to quit smoking...any tips/ideas?

Sucks about the gaming, but being snowed in with that special someone could be fun too. :)

Never played ravenloft, is it fun?

It could be. But when that special someone is out of town for the weekend, it loses something.

I like it. It's a pretty old-school campaign setting. Gothic horror, lots of vampires, that sort of thing.

That's the idea.

Spoiler:
It's a demiplane governed by mysterious, unknowable powers that manifest as a thick mist. It's carved up into smaller domains, each ruled by a twisted, tortured domain lord. The mists occasionally snatch people from other worlds and deposit them in Ravenloft, which is generally how one gets there, but there is no known way out. Nights are impossibly long, half the people you meet are some type of ravenous killer in disguise, some magic doesn't work right (if you resurrect somebody, you never know what twisted thing they might come back as), and the mists reward depravity. Good times.

I spent all day under a house doing a termite treatment on a house that years ago my older brother lived in. Now I am hungry, tired, cold (I forgot my jacket today), and home. But tonight is taco night at the Moore house, the kids are being sweet, and I got my Fawtlys here with me. :)

I start taiko lessons tomorrow! I'm doing the recreational track - the performance track requires you pass physical fitness requirements (I'm doing it to find an activity I enjoy doing to get into shape, after all...) and you end up performing publicly. Um...not sure about that yet!

Then tomorrow night a friend who's a little too busy with family stuff the last few months to game with us is throwing a party, so that will be fun. Then Sunday...Kingmaker!

Hrm. I will need time to work on Kingmaker stuff before Sunday....

...or I could just wing it! All the monsters attack Wolfthulhu!

TWICE!

A friend of mine recently quit. She found a hypnosis app for her iphone where this guy is speaking about how you don't want to smoke anymore. She'd listen to it every night as she dropped off to sleep.

She's been smoking 10 years and quit with only a single cigarette relapse a month or so in.

My parents spent years trying to quit. Mom would quit, but Dad refused, making it really hard on Mom. Everytime she had stress she'd relapse. Then Dad had life-threatening (unrelated to smoking) problems and fear of his own mortality finally got him to quit - so they're both able to stop now. It's been a couple years, so far so good.

Where did you get this internet rule list? I must learn them and commit to memory to aid in my war of Internet conquest.

Urban Dictionary which pulled it from the 4chan site where it was conceived, and with most conceptions I assume copious amounts of beer.
