I know why I don't play much: the setting is AWESOME, but I need to take extra Dramamine for the dice pools.

Ah, you gotta do what I did. I find a block of mini six siders at GenCon a few years back (they came at 70+ in regular dice box).

I always felt some sympathy for Saul. Damn, Samuel was an ass-kicker.
Actually, so do I. We'll have to discuss it over some pie in the near future.
It seems some drama is going on, but I assume I'm not involved until someone tells me I am.
You're safe.
Damn, the JJ thread may just be my most successful thread of all time.
It's a shame there's people attempting to derail it with ... genuine questions.

Damn, the JJ thread may just be my most successful thread of all time.It started moving too fast. With less time, I can't handle too many supergrowth threads. I'll try and pitch back in from time-to-time. Feel free to link any that you especially want me to riff off of, take on, note, or whatever.
Sharoth: better yet, move to DFW and sign up for one of my classes. :3
+1

Something like this -- "We haven't given you what you needed and we know that you are not ideally placed and that we've pretty much ignored you for the past two years, but we need more from you and so you're not getting a raise."
Nice.
I have grown very cynical of my former profession.

Hey I did that and my eyes bled.

Now I am terribly discouraged.

@ AZ
THERE ARE NO WILL SAVES IN FOURTH EDITION! Try it. :P
On another note...
Oh well, I am just waiting to see if I will get hit by Earl.
How is it looking down there in Myrtle Beach???
Yes, but there are attacks vs Will Defense. That would mean that instead of rolling Will Saves, we'd be letting the trolls roll against us, and I don't know if I trust that.

AB: Maybe there's state schools where it's better, but my philosophy at this point is, find a good private school for your career.
I would need to make head way on the education front first. Obviously, I adore it when I am there, but there are some obstacles in my way. <sigh> And I let those obstacles wield too much power over me.

When I read your post, I was offended until I saw "the" alias that you were using. :)
The response to Kruelaid's post?

You'd think these people would get better at it.
Yeah, they're "oh so clever". Please! My grandma could come up with a better sock puppet, and not only has she been dead for 13 years, but she never touched a computer in her life.

So, zombie-ism is genetic?

Works for me.

The response to Sharoth and the post after it.
First, about the sock:
Sharoth wrote:Who is the "new Sock Puppet"?Wait a second...you're trying to test us to see if we can tell who your sock puppet is.
I'm on to you. The oh-so-clever replacement of tildes with asterisks gives you away, dragon!
Then this:
The original is so good, it needs to be preceded by "The".
I just saw '...it needs to be preceded by "The".' and until I noticed the "The" in "The Taig" it looked as if it were a post regarding the sock and that it might be referencing the "The" in my username. :)
It takes a lot out of a joke when you have to thoroughly explain it. :(

Regarding explaining a joke: Don't I know it! :)
