Howdy FaWTLys,

Studpuffin:
No cat anymore. Kai passed back in early 2009 :( My sister's cats spend most of their time with me (she & her family lives two houses up the street) because I spend more time with them... the cats wander back when sis trys to take them home.

The Taig: HUGE congrats on the first paying gig! Does this unfortunately prevent you from further KQ, SupaStah!, and Wayfinder submissions? Hopefully, no.

It's a shame there's people attempting to derail it with ... genuine questions.

Sorry. :)

I never could get into this game. Is something wrong with me? I mean I could get into some aspects of spelljammer and even like darkspace. I just couldn't mix DnD with my cyberpunk.

Probably just a matter of personal taste. I love Shadowrun too. It's really hard to find a game though, especially with the extended character creation under SR 4th ed and the unforgiving lethality of it compared to DnD or Pathfinder. Nothing says Save vs. Death like a SR firearm fight.

Mmmm....California rolls.

No, this will not contain The Taig's awesomeness. Thanks! :)

I'm going to bed. I've got to get up early tomorrow to work a 12-hour day so I can get my 40 hours in before Friday, when I'll be on vacation. I intended to work 4 10-hour days, but I was a slacker today. :S

See y'all in the morning.

I'm a big fan of Shadowrun. After D&D & (Original) World of Darkness it's my next favourite.

I haven't played it since just after 2nd Edition came out though and the only (few) games we did play were all 1st Ed. That said, I still love the setting and seriously considered buying the Anniversary 4th Special Edition, even though I knew I wouldn't play it.
My favourite Character was a Decker, who (along with her very cool Decking abilities) could actually out fight our Street Samurai in a gun battle. After acouple of these battles, I even went back over my maths to make sure I had spent my money correctly and I had... seems he just made sub-optimal choices. :)

alleynbard, Mairkurion, Crimson Jester, Jyu1ch1, Treppa & anyone else who is interested:

Are you guys still interested in playing DDO? I sent you all a FB Message about a month ago, but noone answered (except CJ recently somewhere else). If you're not interested, that's fine, I'd just like to know is all as I spent a (little) bit of money to get the Guild created and get myself playable.

It was me just being stupid. I kept telling myself I needed to respond and now I find myself surprised that a month has passed. Please accept my apology for that.

I am still interested.

heh, that's cool. I've done that before ("I need to reply to that" then weeks later "oh sh!t, I still haven't replied to that").

More than anything, we need to find a time to get together so that I can get everyone invited into the Guild. Unfortunately mail invites don't come until Guild Level 5 and although I've been trying (I managed to get the Guild to Level 2 all by myself) that's still a little way off.

Maybe if everyone were to reply to that Message with all their Character Names that would be a start, since then we could Mail Messages in Game.

I'm so sorry.

That's a big problem with inbred cat lines as well. It's already rampant in the Persian breed.

Morning, FAWTLies!

Another day at sea, today. What was supposed to be a simple overnighter has turned into what I expect will be a very long day with a late arrival tonight. Given the fact that I have duty tomorrow and have to work on Saturday, I won't be getting home to my family until Saturday evening.

It will be nice to have some stability in my schedule again when this silly inspection is over this month. My wife and I are handling it fine, but my girls are getting old enough that my here-and-gone show is starting to bother them.

Taig: Congrats on the paying gig!

Scarab Sages

Well,

Spoiler:
I'm not sure what to make of this, but all of a sudden good old Vomit Guy can't post. I was able to get one last post in with him in his "All hail Vomit Guy" thread, but now...nothing. I guess some pansy ass little douche finally complained enough about him. I've sent an inquiry to PMG, just to be sure.

If this turns out to be the case, it f+*%ing pisses me off! There are people on this board who are waaaay more offensive, and their s#@% doesn't get locked.

+1 to that one! I get tired of some of the trolls never getting banned. They are able to spew more vomit than Vomit Guy and get away with it. All you are trying to do is either lighten up the mood or point out how full of crap a poster is.

With the exception of a bar for two hours, I didn't manage to go to the post office. I wouldn't put it any more than $14 to be honest, but I'll letcha know. And I'll keep an eye out on those books you're wanting ... unless you want to add anything more to the list now while I'm still here at home?

Yes. All those times you spend sending five million questions to JJ could be spent here ... doing ... mundane posting. You have what it takes!

~thinks~ There are several others, but those three should be enough for now.

At least it isn't Monday, or you're looking at a very long week. That would make up for the abbreviated week coming up next.

But next week at least in the US there is no Monday.

I don't know. I've looked through VG's recent posts, and I don't see anything out of the ordinary (like being in a thread he shouldn't have been in, etc). (Well, all of VG's posts are out of the ordinary, in their own charming way.) It seems kind of random that they would do that right now.

Ahhhh. The joys of the Public Schools...

Spoiler:
My son has a two hour delay today. "Why?" you ask? Good question. The school was built in the 1950s and they thought it would be good for the first (or second) week of school that all the kids give a presentation on something from the 50's. One student was going to give a presentation on bombs of the 1950s. And brought an "example" that was a little too realistic.

I don't see anything in the flag queue and the Vomit Guy alias isn't currently suspended. I did rewrite the create new post functionality this week, so maybe there's a bug. But if so it's unintentional.

I had an issue posting with aliases yesterday as well, but you seemed to have cleared it up. Along the same lines maybe, where he'd have to edit to make it work?

Edit: When you edit a post, the text box has the original format still. I know because I'm looking at it now. :P

Yes, I left the old code in place for editing because it was less work and I'm a very, very lazy man.
