My DVD player recently died and the TV is 10+ years old, my wife wants to get a combo but are they reliable? Anybody have any experience with them?
I think you might be hard pressed to find one that doesn't have a 13 inch screen And Mickey Mouse ears.
Seriously, except at RV outfitters, I think you'll have a tough time finding one. I haven't seen an old CRT TV for sale for a few years now, except for Disney TVs.
LGs are running as low as $500 for 36" sets, 1080p. DVD players can be had for $40 nowadays. Amazon is a good place to look.
Edit: actually, while I haven't seen these for sale in a store, apparently they're available.
