GMs get an awesome GM Screen, what about something similar for PCs?
Beyond a pocket for character sheets, what kind of tables do y'all think should be on it? My suggestions:
- Character Advancement and Level-Dependent Bonuses
- Skills: their ability modifiers, untrained/trained, take 10/20, retry
- Standard weapons and armor. The full equipment list might be a bit much, but quick notes on masterwork item pricing and alchemical items/skill kits.
- Carrying capacity
- Movement and travel speeds
- Actions in Combat
- Armor Class modifiers
- Concentration check DCs
Other nifty idea...A dry erase or erasable section (like the back of the item cards) with the following info:
- Current/Max HP
- Saving throws
- Condition Tracking (you know, panicked, blinded, stunned, along with their effects).
- Buff/debuff note section
- Money
Reminder: This is a hypothetical Pathfinder RPG product, so no overly Golarion-specific stuff...
Thoughts? Comments?

I would certainly buy that product. I would also add a dry erase section for "Name of character" in case your DM takes pride in killing off PCs. *evil grins*
The GM in me would probably have a set of skull & bones stickers that I would apply to the exterior of my GM screen, like the fighter pilots in WWII did. :D
Name of PC is a pretty obvious "Duh" that I totally forgot to add that. :)

I wish I could imprint this on my player's retinas:

In one normal round you may take one of the following combinations of actions:
|---Standard Action---|-------Move your speed-------|-I or S-|-F-|
|---Standard Action---|----Move Action-----|-5' step-|-I or S-|-F-|
|-----Move Action------|----Move Action-----|-5' step-|-I or S-|-F-|
|----------------------------Run------------------------------|-I or S-|-F-|
|--------------------------Charge---------------------------|-I or S-|-F-|
|------------------------Withdraw--------------------------|-I or S-|-F-|
|----Move 5 Feet through really difficult terrain------|-I or S-|-F-|
|-------------------Full Attack-------------------|-5' step-|-I or S-|-F-|
|-----------Other Full Round Actions---------|-5' step-|-I or S-|-F-|
|-----Cast a 1 round casting time spell----|-5' step-|-I or S-|-F-|
|-I or S-|-F-| = A character may take an immediate action or swift
action each round and free actions.

I like the idea of the clip board, but with the clip. Clip your Pathfinder character sheet to it. Flip the sheet up for the tables you need printed below.
Or have the board covered in the same material as the flipmatts are made from to make erasable notes there.

A very interesting idea. I personally wouldn't buy these for my two PFRPG campaigns, but I've got involved with a third group which might end up moving from 3.5e to PFRPG eventually and I would buy them a set.
I think what would sell best would be a simple folio. Take material like the covers of the PF modules and adventure paths. This should be about 18" wide by say... 14" tall. Fold up the bottom say... 2.5" to create a sort of lip. Now seal the left and right seams. Finally, fold this in half (towards you) along a vertical center line. Boom, you've got a perfect folio that players can chuck their character sheets and associated hand-outs into.
Next, print useful things like say... a list of conditions on the inside panels.
The front cover gets a nice bit of art. The back gets more player-centric information.
Sell it for in the realm of $10 and you've got a nice carrying case for players that's useful at the table.

You're welcome. Obviously, the original response was made in fun but still got the point across.

MillerHero's chart of combat actions is, I think, pretty fantastic.
A dry-erase section would be great. When I play, I always either have a scrap paper handy, or use my netbook, for recording HP damage/other stuff (luck rerolls/action points/bard song or barbarian rage rounds used, etc etc). So, in a character folio product, I'd definitely expect it to be able to do the same.
.
A space for a character portrait would be cool, though it may not get used by the average player. You'd need some method to affix your artwork to the folio; cut out your picture and glue it on? Would the portrait part be a mat-like "window" you slipped your artwork paper beneath?
I think the coolest thing, portrait-wise, would probably be if the "cover" of the folio allowed you to slip your own cover overtop, like a DVD case or those binders with the clear plastic pouches on their covers.
.
What could be cool is a magnet/sticker page to the folio. Magnets vs stickers would depend on how reusable you want this folio to be. A more expensive product should be something a player can use in multiple games. Stickers are harder to reuse on another character, though they could be those fancy removable stickers, or you could just put your new characters stickers on top of your old ones.
While it's true that you could just make individual folios for each class instead(Wizard Character Folio, Monk Character Folio, etc), this really seems somehow less desirable to me. With the magnets or stickers you could buy a Party Pack that comes with four folios and one sticker sheet for each class, allowing your average 4-player group to have "everything they need" in one product, or players could buy single folios and separate class stickersheets as needed.
Class stickers would contain information on class-specific abilities: The Ranger's sheet would have a Favored Enemy sticker, a Favored Terrain sticker, and so on. A bard's sticker sheet would have all the bard songs, a rogue's would have stickers for each rogue talent, etc etc. That way, each character can have THEIR class' stuff in their folio without being "cluttered up" by the information for other classes.
If I were playing a fighter, having metamagic rules getting all up in my grill would annoy me when I'm looking for information on grappling and disarming and all that fighty stuff. And since stikers/magnets would be super modular, any other character who wants the disarming stuff could just stick that sticker in place.

I think this is a great idea but would hope that it would include digital content as well. For me, would love to see anything that can be typed be offered as an editable-PDF (or something similar) and then which could the be put into dry erase sleeves that could be "clipped" to the board. This would let me create and manage my character on the old computer while being able to print out for each session. Perhaps the digital version could be an extension to Hero Builder?
Cool idea regardless.
