So my group is in Runeforge at the moment. We have had one player just stop showing up and he is gone from the game. Right now, we have 3 players and 6 PC's. However, one player (who plays the Cleric, Druid, and evil Cleric), has decided he no longer wants to play. He has forwarded his cleric to one of the remaining two players, so they have a healer.
They want to, and I do too, want to finish a damn AP! We have TPK'd in Second Darkness, LoF, and Savage Tide.
Any suggestions for cutting the AP short after Runeforge?

Well, if you want to finish it, i would have Karzoug's Lengite allies turn on him. You could then have him show up at whatever power level you want( spells used, dmg'd etc.) at the runeforge looking for his apprenticeses and possible allies against the Denizens of Leng.Especially if you dont want to create a bunch of tie in encounters. Just have him show up at the Runeforge after defeating his former allies. Then all you'd need is to scale Karzoug to your PC's and you'd be set for endgame. Or if your going to go on and play another AP, just leave it and possibly use the arrival of Karzoug and his slaves in the final set of the new Ap. or as a continuance. I'm keeping this in mind for Kingmaker. We came within one character and a cohort of a TPK in the halls of wrath vs the shamhaizian deamon and the lady of wrath.Our next AP is going to be kingmaker and i thought it would be amusing to let them get their own kingdoms and then drop a pissed off Karzoug with an army of giants on them. could be fun. well luck with whatever you do.

Put up "Player's wanted" ads in your local game store. Always worked for me.
