Emrin Aerilin |

Emrin attacks the Golem:
Curve Blade:1d20 + 11 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 11 + 2 + 2 = 19
Damage:1d10 + 2 + 3d6 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 + (4, 6, 3) + 2 = 23
Spikes:1d20 + 11 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 11 + 2 + 2 = 31
Damage:1d6 + 1 + 3d6 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 1 + (1, 3, 4) + 2 = 14
Curve Blade:1d20 + 6 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 6 + 2 + 2 = 30
Damage:1d10 + 2 + 3d6 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 + (5, 6, 6) + 2 = 27
Spikes:1d20 + 6 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 6 + 2 + 2 = 25
Damage:1d6 + 1 + 3d6 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 1 + (3, 6, 2) + 2 = 18

Variel of the Temple of Apsu |

1st Confirm Attempt:1d20 + 10 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 10 + 2 + 2 = 23
Damage:1d10 + 14 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 14 + 2 = 24
2nd Confirm Attempt:1d20 + 5 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 5 + 2 + 2 = 29
Damage:1d10 + 14 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 14 + 2 = 23
forgot to add the fire damages to both attacks:
1st Attack's fire damage:1d6 ⇒ 6
2nd Attack's fire damage:1d6 ⇒ 5
That is what you get for hitting at me!

Derrin Lightlips |

Shivi the Firm Hand |

Shivi rides Beaky to W33-X34 and readies an attack in case a surprise comes out of the door; she urges Beaky to do likewise. Pointing at the golem on the floor: "Quickly see if that construct holds anything we can use, or clues - or at least deny the enemy the use of his weapons and items. We'll open the door after."

As you open the door you see a short hallway with tiled mosaic in the centre of the floor. The image it depicts is obscured by a pool of fresh blood, with a gory trail heading off toward the east. The heavy scent of copper hangs in the air.
There is another door like the one you have just entered to the North and two doorways: one to the East and another to the West.

Shivi the Firm Hand |

The advantage of sitting right next to the GM. I didn't want to go through the 4-or-so posts required for my turn to move, see stuff, move, attack, and so forth. Suffice it to say there are corpses, they move to attack (of opportunity) Shivi, and she hits back.
Apparently the internet is being dodgy in Vredendal, so Isi hasn't been posting.

Hi, I'm back from Vredendal and slowly sorting out all the stuff that piled up while I was gone. I will email you all once I start posting here again, which will hopefully be tonight.
As for the animated corpse thing, we thought discussing it outside of PbP and then posting would work smoother, but seeing the post now I can understand that this type of posting will confuse the other players.
What basically happened was this: Shivi moved into the room but as soon as she entered the room she gets attacked, which of course alters her original course of action. Thus Shivi would post her move, then I would have to post that the corpse came to life as soon as he entered the room and smacked him, then he had to post again as this attack altered his previous action.
As you can see it would have been many posts and also confusing, but now I see it would have been less confusing than the current situation.
I apologise for the confusion.

In the previous session you completed the assault on the Academy. The main drow leading the war in Celwynvian was nowhere to be found and evidence leads you to believe that Kaerishiel and Shalelu were taken captive. You saw through the tricks and deceptions of the Aboleth who was guarding an inactive Elf Gate. In the final room there was a portal revealing a shadowy city. This must be the Armageddon Echo the journals spoke about, but in front of it stood a Paintaster, a blood hungry drow barbarian. It was soon revealed that he was not alone when the elusive Drider joined the fray. Just as the fight looked as if the heroes might win the Drider slipped through the portal and it started closing and the party bravely followed.
Stepping through the portal is a dizzying experience, and it takes a few moments for the world to right itself. After a time, the surrounding elven city becomes clear, its tall, graceful spires rising up among manicured boughs of a well tended forest. Some of these buildings seem familiar, resembling those of ruined Celwynvian, but strangely restored and made whole. Although this glimpse through time is convincing, something is off. Colours seem dim, sounds are muted, and the shadows appear strangely long and dark. Yet most disconcerting of all is the sky above—for it is nothing more than a vortex of gray clouds, spiralling around a dark blot in the sky. For those that were in Riddleport they recognise this, but this blot is hundreds of times larger than the one in Riddleport.
