Nik: Your contacts might be able to get hold of the plans, but it would take them a while unless they just happened to have them handy, which seems unlikely. Otherwise, the council offices would have them... they are publicly available if you can give them a reason you want them, and are willing to wait for the correct forms to be processed.

I mistyped earlier, the 'moat' isn't really much of a stream, there are overflow grates on the street side and there are gutters along and through the outer wall to feed rainwater into the channel. It doesn't look particularly deep, but it does encircle the entire property.

If you wanted to hide somewhere and time the watch patrols, you'll need a Stealth check. And everyone can make a Perception check like Garion did if you'd like.

Samant will not attempt to hide since he's not very adept at it.

Nik and whomever else that is better suited for the stealthy pursuits will stay here for a peroid of a few hours, once it is deeper into the night we will rendevous back here and attepmt to breach the gate by whatever means needed. Realizing he's giving orders he flushes, and add If that is okay with you

Zeldin opts to stay by the keep. He ventures no more than .25miles away from Nik's location. He does not attempt to hide but merely walks around the area, as if he is on patrol himself, just to keep an eye on Nik in case things go wrong.

He is also of the opinion that attempting a sewer approach might be the safest...

In typical Zeldin fashion he does not mention this to Nik or the others... He was very taken with Alexian's nobility though and means to follow through the promise he made to him to look out for this group.

COOL! I kinda like how Zeldin is a bit of a loner! So far everyone is showing like a different personality I m really liking that!

Calix, I don't want to go too far. Is there some public house or place we can go that we saw on the way here so we can let Nik and Zeldin know where we are if they need us. I got the impression the Song and Rose is a bit of a hike.

Samant nods in agreement with Zeldin. One person walking around is less noticable than four armed individuals lurking about. Let's find the closest place to hole up so we're not too far if needed.

Garion and Samant find a small tavern on a corner a few streets away from the keep, named The Linnorm's Scales and popular amongst the Ulfen residents of the quarter. "What'll it be, boys?" a matronly woman with thick blond braids asks as they approach the bar.

1d20 + 4 - 5 ⇒ (13) + 4 - 5 = 12, 1d20 + 4 - 5 ⇒ (2) + 4 - 5 = 1, 1d20 + 5 - 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 - 5 = 10.

Nik finds a hiding-place in the shadows of a nearby alleyway to watch for the watch while Zeldin wanders the streets. The patrol returns to the street nearly ten minutes after Daryan and Samant left, they walk past the alley in which Nik has concealed herself, but the dancer lets out a long breath as they continue on, alerting the rearmost watchman to her presence, "Evening, Ma'am," he says, peering into the darkness, "is everything alright?"

Zeldin notices on his second pass of the keep, that on each corner of the the outer walls' palisade, stands what looks to be an empty stone plinth. On the doors beyond the fence he sees a notice, "Warning: This building is designated as off limits, no entry except by permission of the Nomarch."

The watchman recoils slightly from Nik, "No, no," he sputters, "that's not what I meant. Please, calm do—" he cuts off suddenly and looks down towards Nik's chest.

It's been about twenty minutes since the last time the patrol passed.

"Are you sure, miss?" the watchman says, while his two companions grin in amusement from behind him, "I can make sure that you get home safely if you'd like."

"There is about 20 mns between each time the watchmen pass ... they just passed now so we have about 15mns unless u wanna wait a bit longer ... oh and they SAW me so I cant take too many chances"

Zeldin saw Garion and Samant enter the Linnorm's Scale, so it only takes a few minutes for the pair to catch up with them, by this time though, the roast mutton has just been set on the counter before them.

"Here you go darlin's," the matron beams at them.

I think we should time our exit here with a patrol pass in probably about an hour. Let's get some food in us, sip our drinks carefully, and let the night deepen a little. Samant realizing we skipped dinner walking through town.

"Perhaps we should wait for them to finish another patrol. Right now they are probably more 'alert' after their encounter with Nik. If we allow them some time, the guardsmen should relax some. Also, as the night passes, they will get more sluggish. Mutton, Nik?" Garion says, slicing off some of the meat and offering it to Nik.
