Office Max has everything... EVERYTHING.

Ask the clerk by the swinging doors...

They don't have lightsabers.

We thought about a movie, actually... but couldn't find anything we wanted to see tonight.
So what did you get at the bookstore? I can never leave without buying something.

Treppa is thinking about getting one of those book pads. We walked out with a book on philosophy and a book on religion.

Got "The Trivium: The Liberal Arts of Logic, Grammar and Rhetoric." I'd like to send it to.. .oh, never mind. It's an integrated look at logic, grammar, and rhetoric.

One on Trivium (logical, grammar, and rhetoric) and one about an evangelic priest turned anti-theist called Godless. Not big on religious books, but this one managed to catch my curiosity. <shrug>

Edit: 1/2 Ninja'd by Treppa.

Ah, it's on my Amazon wish list. Got it confused with the one by John Loftus.

Well, it could've been Ann Coulter too.

Nearly 1,000 friggin posts in 24 hours? What are you people smoking?

I guess that is what I get for working on my homebrew and watching a little tv. :\

Personally I'd prefer to be on the boards when they get a surge of activity.

I was typing up a storm and missed it.

I loves me some Office Max. I can easily lose 2-3 hours in one just putzing around.

Morning, all. What did I miss?

Who'd you get to go out with?

EDIT: Oh, SP got to go out with Matt Damon. So, who'd Treppa get?

taig wrote:
Speaking of Flash, looks like some other folks missed out on the fun.

Yeah, me. The Mentalist was on early. If I don't watch it with the wife all I hear is heavy breathing from the living room.

Emperor7 wrote:

I got luckier and got to go out with Studpuffin. :P

Happy Good Friday post. Must go wrangle noisy dogs. BBL.

Ugh. Overslept my alarm. Good thing today wasn't a school day. I don't even remember the thing going off.

It's weird having summer type weather in April. Also inconvenient as the covers don't get taken off the air conditioners until late May. But it is indeed a beautiful day outside.

It's nice here too. Low 80s. But I'm stuck inside a windowless office building.

One of the few perks being unemployed at the moment -- enjoying this weather.

Silver Crusade

Tomorrow we're planning on heading down to one of the state parks (still undecided) where my partner can shoot some pictures and we can just enjoy the weather. That will be nice.

Tonight, however, I have a game night. Which has nothing to do with nice weather, but game nights are always a good thing.

Ah...a game night. Haven't had one since December. *sighs*

Carry on.

I kind of fell out of interest of the previous one I was participating in. A lot had to do with the poor timing of getting let go from work and having to put one of my dogs down. Another thing that was getting to me was the 8pm Friday night schedules lasting until 2am. Third, I'd like to branch out of the 'core-only' and try out other things.

Incidently, which reminds me ... Matthew Morris is looking to launch one up this month and I want to give it a try. I need to pester him, so thanks for the reminder. :D

Liberty's Edge

G'Afternoon everyone.

Paizo was a beckoning. Man, do you ever feel like you're contributing something absolutely worthwhile and insightful to a thread only to have it utterly ignored by the trolls who just want to continue arguing? Or have corrected something a page early, only to have everyone else hop on a day and a half later to say the same exact thing without even looking at your post that was on 1st page? Oy.

Happens all the time. It's why I'm very limited about where I post now.
