Things are going pretty well. I'm getting settled into the new job. Cheryl and the kids are driving down here and we're going to drive from here to Tennessee.

The flight was uneventful, which was nice. My lower back hurt for a couple of days from the cramped seating, but it's better now.

How are you doing?

Tea is definately in the Top 10 of drinks, whereas Coffee is somewhere down the bottom next to Generic Cola, Dr. Pepper and Root Beer...

Still trying to catch up on sleep. Kids aren't having it. Work sucks. I wish I had the time to find something else.

Sorry about your back. :\ Airplanes are so cramped. I hate flying. Kirk seemed to like it though. It had been his first time on a plane.

I hates the flying. It totally screws with my already screwed sinuses to create some kind of sinus vortex that sucks my whole head into it. :(

Wow, his first time flying? I'm used to flying because I grew up half the country away from relatives, so we would fly when there wasn't enough time to drive. My son flew 6 times before his first birthday. I was so glad he was an easygoing baby.

My ears are still popping. :\

When I flew to America at the tender age of 12, we had a 4 hour stop over in Nwe Zealand. I spent 3 of those 4 hours curled up sick on the airport floor.

Then when we got to LA, I spent almost 2 of the 3 weeks with clogged ears before they finally popped one day.

I have also had problems on domestic flights as well. On a trip to Queensland, I spent the first 2 hours asleep on the back seat of the rent-a-car because I didn't feel well. And it was a single day Mystery Flight to boot. :(

Yup his first time. He enjoyed the taking off and sitting at the window. The crowded loud plane not so much, and forget airports. Ugh.

I flew a ton as a child and loved it as a kid. Now as an adult......
I took kellen when he was an infant. He did alright. 6 times before one though?!

We lived in Omaha Nebraska, and at the time economy airlines were booming, so it was cheap to fly.

If my son had been like my daughter, though, we would have found other means to travel.

She doesn't like to fly? My Uncle worked for Us Airways when I was growing up. So we flew on Buddy Passes. Super cheap, like 50 bucks round trip. So we flew to PA ever summer to spend the summer with my grand mother and aunts and uncles.

The only time it bit us in the ass was when I was about 11 or 12 and my lil brother was like 8 or 9. We ended up getting bumped off a crowded flight and were stuck in Charlotte airport for almost 4 hours. By ourselves. Thank goodness for nice Stewardesses and pilots. We got to hang out in the pilots club. :)

My daughter was, and still is somewhat, stubborn when she was young. So it was a pain in the butt to keep her in her seat during the flight.

My wife had a similar experience to yours, since her dad worked for Eastern.

I was actually surprised at how good Caitlin was on her first flight.

Seth on the other hand... I am not looking forward to taking him on a plane.
