At least I found out I've got a strong ticker, though maybe a bit of sleep apnia (sp?).
Have they figured out why?? Thank goodness for that strong ticker.

Nope. I'm in that 10-15% that heals itself before they find a cause. I'm OK with that, as long as the chance for a repeat is low.
Of course they didn't like my cholesterol numbers, so the Endocrinologist wants to follow up with me too. *sigh*

I'm surprised you never choked the shyt outta them.
They say Pea-can in New Jersey. Tell ya what, son, let's have the state that supplies most of the pecans name it. PEH KAWN.

Yep, but it is satisfying when the nurses and docs find out you're not on a bunch of meds. Makes a bunch of stuff a lot easier. Of course the low tolerance for meds makes for other probs. Like the stuff they gave me for vasospasms making me hurl.

I just realized I don't have a "room".

Got to get a bigger house and have a "room" again. Must___have___room!
I've got a "pile" under my desk...
OK, so I do have a double garage outside, but I'm never out there and do all my stuff inside, so the most I'm allowed in here is my desk (which is pretty much all computers) and part of a hutch. :/

BBQ here is sausages, steaks and onions (amongst other things) done on the Barbeque. hmmm... sounds like last night's dinner!

Yeah I also gave some advice about stating your intended end point when you have a map, since without a visual representation sitting in front of you it can be hard to keep track of where everyone is if you just write "I attack that guy".

I also like to try and bury them. Doesn't always work, but you can't blame a guy for trying.

Why is it when the good lord is feeling randy, yet he's run out of astroglide, the first ass he sees is mine? Seriously, I must have some type of invisible sign on the top of my head informing any and all deities of the aphrodisiacal properties of my tears. It's only 9:04 and yet...
My head hurts. My soul aches. I was looking forward to being off this wednesday so I could enjoy the parade and drink to my heart's content the night before- something I never do. Now, St. Paddy's Eve can't come fast enough...

lots of stuff
Wow, man! I feel your pain. Some idiot stole my mountain bike a long time ago!
If I ever lost my USB hard drive, I'd be agonizing over it too. It's got Sarunia and my 3.X Tale of the Twin Suns on it (months upon months work).
And the hitting the back button, well it's worse when all you have to do is tighten your gip on the left side of your mouse by accident. I have learned to copy my posts in the off chance of losing it.

Sorry to hear about your day, Freehold. Here's something to make you feel a tiny bit better. Takeout breakfast in Dallas is about twice the cost it is in NYC. WHY? Almost everything in Dallas is cheaper except nail salons (this I know thanks to a wife who used to go in almost weekly and now maybe every other month) and takeout breakfast. Two things that are better and cheaper in NYC thank Big D.

Yeah, it accomplished nothing. But why did Woodsy have to die on his second blog pic? I mean what the hell? One day he's strolling through the woods, happy as an aberration offensive in the sight of God can be, the next he's a face down pin cushion. I was hoping for a string of Woodsy in life pics. Next up: unlife.

Repeat of a post in my update thread -
Scared myself a bit by reading up on my injury. Bullet dodged
Recovery looks intiminating but I have to keep myself from focusing on where I am today versus where I hope to be down the road.
Haven't gone stir crazy yet, but kinda bummed that I can't bring myself to pick up a book to pass the time. Also, I can't bring myself to jump back into a PbP. :(
I'm worried about long-term cognitive issues, as that's my bread n butter. A third dodge these issues and I'm determined to be in that 3rd. Still I'm better off than another 3rd of the people that get this problem. I just have to keep telling myself that what I'm experiencing is short-term. Can't exercise yet either, but I sure would like to continue the much needed weight loss/muscle gain.
Sure could use some BttH. ;)

Sorry about your day, Freehold. I get stuck in the boss rut every now and then. It seems like nothing goes right in front of them. Hopefully the low point is past you and the rest of the day and week is nothing but better. Be sure to have a pint for me on St. Patty's day. No beer for this irishman for a while.
