Xabulba - I made a highly dumb weapon choice for Malick. Any chance I can change it?
He's got a Challenge-seeking halberd which does extra damage on an untouched enemy and nothing at all on a crit - much the wrong way around for him as he usually goes late in the init order by choice if not by rubbish rolling.
If we need an ic reason, is it something Ferdinand could fix for him?
Starting on this one as soon as I can. Not alot of good options for changeling looks, so I went with a person who is ashamed of the way they look and wears a mask alot.

I'm running a strict Eberron game, nothing outside is allowed. Also the only races allowed are human, elf, dwarf, gnome, half-elf, half-orc, changlings, kalashtar, shifters, halflings and warforged.

Sounds good, I'll start on my character tonight, shouldn't
be too long in the making. How about weapons/equip? Standardrules for starting past lv 1 then?

Sure is that a paragon class or just from taking feats/diety? I do not remember seeing it listed as paragon in Eberron book. I will research it tonight as I am doing the character.

No it's just character background but it will give you some authority in Thrane and in dealing with some groups. It would also be your reason for being in the mournland.

That is what I thought, but I didnt have any of my stuff handy. Yep I will take care of it, it fits nicely with my paragon too.

One quick question: Does Fleeting Dweomer's bonus elemental damage count as bonus damage for Brutal Enchantment? (Also, has there been any errata for it, since this is one good encounter power, to say the least.)
Wow both are paladins, that makes thing very easy to intigrate.

Also, this combined with the other Ebberon game I'm in makes me wish we played some of our earlier exploits in the war. I know we never would of gotten to this point if we did that and that that's not the point of the game, but doing semi-covert missions in the middle of the Last War sure is fun.

I've thought about having you play through a backstory event but now you have two new guys that might not be possible.

Sounds good. Just so you know its mostly background info, but I was thinking of swapping out a feat, but in the end I might not.

Don't worry, we'll be sure to give you plenty of cryptic comments when we talk with the paladin that wants to kill us, no worries. Have fun doing something.
We might skip the part where Typhus would blast the paladins first and ask questions later :)

Whereas Malick is always one for the talking. Mainly because it often gets nicer results with fewer scars.

Don't worry about it. Like Amael, I'm having a fine time with both games.
Still learning my pbp ettiquette, but is it best to post most things in the IC part, or is it something I'd want to post here. For example like strats on the battle, kudos to a pcs actions, etc. Just checkin, don't wanna clog the game chat with unnecessary posts.
Varies. My games tend not to use their respective discussion threads much apart from when we level or something goes horribly wrong. For game flow, I guess spoilering up ooc stuff on the game thread is the ideal, but like I said, my own games don't do that :)
