That's too bad. I find I'm able to drown out everything and focus on books, with a few exceptions. Giggly girls between the ages of about 9 and 14 tend to be annoying enough I can't filter them out.

Now I know why that happens, it's because babies can't do the 'ear pop maneuver' that we grownups can. But it still SUCKS.
