Interesting site for history buffs and grognards:
Welcome to the Museum of Role Playing Games. We use these virtual galleries to show visitors a representative assortment of rare and out of print games, some dating from the beginning of the hobby.
Role playing games started in 1974, with the publication of Dungeons & Dragons. The hobby grew slowly, peaking in the 1990s, but it is still going strong. Most of the old classics are known today only by name and reputation. They are rarely seen, making it difficult for interested individuals to learn about them.
Hence, the museum. We provide detailed reviews, including the main mechanics of play and personal reminiscences. Where possible, we direct people to resources for those games still supported and played.
