You've got nothing to worry about bud, the next turn in that conflict belongs to mr happyvoice.

Your up next.

And he pitches it down the middle! What a turn around, in the same round you've managed to see him (dang sniping stealth penalty does not help lol) AND he missed you. Things are looking up, tune in next time boys and girls, same time, same channel, same awesome campaign.

Any of you guys on? I'm bored over here waiting to get back into action lol.

I'm back! Who's turn is it in our fight?

SO THAT'S WHAT HAPPENNED!

I was wondering what happened to you, figured you'd have posted in here by now with the way things had frozen.

While I was waiting for the Friar to post I've been working on a surprise for you guys, I'll probably be linking it in a couple days, but for now I'll NPC him and get things moving again.

Also I want to apologize for leaving the mages hanging, I got caught up in that project I mentioned in my prior post. I hope you guys will agree it was worth the wait.

Sorry, I expected to be able to post while I was gone, but my time got murdered. I am here and ready.

Alright. Should have the post up in an hour at most. Just curious, what do you think of having our own site and forum for the game? With pages of data for what's been revealed in the world so far, image posting capabilities, and... wait for it... the ability to edit posts! lol.

Yeah, that's what I've been working on, I'm hoping it was worth the effort.

Yes please. Haha. Anyway, I'm a bit busy right now, so I shall post once more later. I do feel the need to buy potions. And I still have a thousand gp to spare.

So what's the next page in Aydan's chapter?

First, we find out whether or not his pursuer made his save, then, we see if Aydan can escape or whatnot.

(Also a word of advice, Daze only slows the target down, and has a lower DC, and odds are good you'll get to sleep after you escape, so Sleep 'might' be a wiser choice if he comes after you again)

Then you can go slit his throat open with your claws xD

I was coserving sleep until I knew the 10ft. area he was in, now though, its naptime!

That would be pretty damn sweet. I will only be posting during the day, 8-5 US Central, until Thursday. AT&T has a bunch of tards working for them and they are taking forever hooking my internet up.

Just wanted to thank you guys for sticking it out with me. There's been a lot going on lately and I've neglected the game. I'd like to get to a good 'end of chapter' so to speak, before the christmas so after new years or whatnot we can start on the private forum (complete with proper pages detailing all the rules and classes and feats and spells and such!)

At any rate, thanks guys (and thanks for posting despite the long absense of posts Friar, just the kick in the ass I needed to get back into motion.

This time I'll get all the posts done on my PC first and post them in rapid succession, rather than post one at a time and risk getting dragged away with it partially completed. I will post all of you guys by tomorrow at the latest.

Haha, s'okay. It's been incredibly busy leading up to the Christmas break anyway. Glad to see you're back. (read you're back?)

wow, fast reply.

Also... your going to hate me...

A while ago while I was contemplating my next move I realized something. That attack roll was a critical threat, and I decided I'd roll it if the Friar successfully saved against the fire.

So... we just might be down one choirboy

I am indeed back my minions...... erm.... I mean players, right, players ;)

Any chance of a young mother with a bucket of water to save the day?

So, whats the story?

vagrant-poet wrote:

The story is that when it comes to keeping my word on this board concerning posting deadlines, I'm clearly an epic failure.

I did work on posts, but between this and that, I allowed my focus to get splayed in the wind.

I'd like to blame holiday time chaos and family issues, and I suppose they do contribute, but I've also been absorbed in the playtest threads, and other issues as well, things that need to take secondary priority to the players I am responsible to.

Also... to Gorgrom and the Friar, like the fight? What do you think of the reward?

Very Nice! and very entertaining. I am taking weapon focus (bows) as we discussed and will put skill points in the suggested skills. Roll for hit points 1d6 + 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (6) + (1) + 4 = 11. I enjoyed that critical far too much ;) Poor Feres had to taste my blade first. At least now he knows how sharp it is LOL.

I would guess Feres is just grateful your slash didn't penetrate the armor just a 'little bit higher' if you catch my drift ;) lmao

Yeah, Vagrant and I have many other PbP's to keep us busy while we wait ;)

Kyrt, would I need 2 separate Craft skills? One being Craft (Arms) and the other Craft (Armor).

Just one. The skill is Craft (Arms and Armor.) Basically the skill means your an all around jack of all trades arms-crafter, smithing, tanning, fletching, if it's weapons or armor, or one of the processes used in such you can use that craft on it.

And thanks guys. I guess I need to learn patience as well lol, even with myself.

I have a couple questions I posted in my entries in the game thread. Just letting you know Kyrt.

Gorgrom the Relentless wrote:

I'll just go ahead and let you claim the single check, since you were working with the same source material. (yes, I can be a generous GM lol)

Treating his wounds healed him of 6 HP (and he just flat gained his new HP from leveling of course, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger xD) and the longterm care heals him 6 HP if you guys shove off in the morning, 18 if you stay until the morning after. (Since those woods you guys are about to enter are pretty dangerous I wouldn't advise leaving at night when one of you doesn't have darkvision)

I'll run through and double check you guys' math for your HP totals after I finish posting for everybody else. For now, relax, rp a bit (if he shows up to do so soon..) and... enjoy... the wait. lol.

On to Aydan and Baldoin (and that wizard who's name I can never remember...)

kyrt-ryder wrote:

Maybe you should just call him the forgotten mage. I am down to rest for awhile. How long will it take me to make the arrows and armor?

The arrowheads are going to have to soak for a few days, you'll know when they are ready for use. The armor can be fashioned one of two ways. You can either make it into a chain shirt itself, which will take more time and require that you deal with the leather bla bla, (should be able to get it in 10 hours work or so) or just a few hours inserting the scales to an existing set of chainmail.

I will let them soak then. As for the chain shirt, could I will make it from scratch, since I don't have existing chainmail. 10 hours isn't that long.

I actually was kind of hinting at your partner's mithril chain shirt lmao, gotta spread the treasure love out at the baseline. But, your welcome to make it from scratch, so go for it if that's what you want.

No big deal, he was passed out, you did finish the oponent off (and knocked him out too lmao) so whatever your choice was it's fine, so long as it's in character.

Just be warned the other players are welcome to 'handle' people that they don't like lmao.

It may be better for him anyway, I have a spell that does that. I will inlay the scales in Feres' mithral chain shirt.

Thought I should let you worms....I mean players... know that Baldoin and Aydan have been replied to. (Got a lucky save with Aydan, but eh, keeps thing's more exciting. Wait... I haven't even looked at my attack roll vs him lmao, hold that thought...)

Interesting news, Max (Friar Tuck), is posting, now we just have to hope he posts for us lol.

Okay, a sorcerer just can't live on his own, certainly not at this low a level. When I get to the Rusty Anvil, I will need some hired help. Feel free to have them a level or two below me, even two other characters, and just adjust the CR so that live isn't easier for me.

If your okay with this, we'll need to come up with the characters, not to mention some of the colorful persona's of Tre'Age, especially the movers and shakers and some adventurous clientele of the Rusty Anvil.

Should I come up with my nominal cohorts, or would you rather do so?

We'll see what happens when resume play next chapter. I'm debating whether or not to up you to level 3. I want to, but it's a little iffy. Also, there's that opening for people to join, and it would be better for you to have a PC companion than NPC ones, so like I said, we'll wait and see. If nobody shows up then sure, you'll be welcome to try to rustle up some hired muscle.

Sorry, just trying to decide how to level-up Feres. Maybe I'll multiclass into a third class that has +0 BAB at the first level!

Your going to force me to implement fractional BAB aren't you >.>

Uh...huhh.... so tell me Gorgrom... back when you were put through your test of manhood... is your niceness the reason you enjoyed gutting your human mother alive and feasting on her heart while she watched?

(Yes, Temple of Doom reference lmao)

Yeah, I'd prefer a PC too! I just need some muscle is all! Then cash to found my faction! Then! Politics! Huzzah! :D
