Since the cleric couldn't make it, I started off the session with a fun-filled possession! The party was able to exorcize the Splatter Man from Father Talgrim but the good priest was all discombobulated and they couldn't trust him. Luckily, Kendra Lorrimor was able to find some S&M restraints and a ball-gag in her father's closet!
So then they went and took out The Mosswater Marauder with some inventive playing. Lodi Carine, halfling summoner, got bewitched into the haunted iron maiden, resulting in a 6-pt. Con loss and then Elzbeth Half-Elven got smacked down by the gray ooze and the party decided they'd had enough for one evening.
They returned to Ravengro at about midnight and, in the distance, could hear screams of horror and anguish. End of session!
Hopefully, they'll have enough time to level up before the next ghostly assault!

Dang now I'm going to have to try to forget that stuff you just said.
. . .
Hmm I don't remember what I was talkin about here.
Let's see how closely this thread is being watched!
So I'm just gonna give you a random link.

Oh man. This universe-hopping campaign is going to get SO F**#ING AWESOME>
It started out as something of a joke campaign. One of the players' characters had this can that was given them by this goblin chieftain. Then she disappeared and my character took on the task of its protection. (Somewhere along the way, he died and was reincarnated from a hobgoblin to a celestial dwarf, further augmenting his paladin abilities.) Three "friends" (an enslaved evil goblin snake, an atoned white dragon, and an air elemental or something) have died along the way to zombie pirates and stuff. The can was stolen by a goblin in a purple cloak, and we followed him into the World Serpent Inn. Over the course of shenanigans, I accidentally set an entire world alight (the accident part was the fire burning down the entire world, not the fire-setting itself), (which I really need to atone for) and enslaved an evil ogre analogue who we thought had died from a heart attack in the WSI because the GM had lost his stats, but will actually come back later because he found them again. And . . . if the can is what I (as a player) think it is, it will get even more awesome. Like some of the best webcomics.

Pan's Labyrinth: This is one of the few movies worth its hype. It kind of sucked that I had all these preconceptions from when it came out and all these interviews were going on, but it was still very good. I'm not going to spoil anything, but it altered my mind. A+ (even though I'll be kicking myself later for A+ creep)
I used to work at Logan International Airport in Boston. There's a lot of downtime when you work there, and a lot of movie-watching and playing video games on the clock. I ran the bagroom and got done about 45 minutes before the ramp rats, so I would watch something I wanted to watch and then, after the planes left and the other workers got to the break room, I would usually turn off whatever I was watching so they could watch some Van Damme film or whatever.
Anyway, I'd guess 60% of my co-workers were Spanish-speaking immigrants or Puerto Ricans, 20% white or black Americans and 20% immigrants from elsewhere.
So, I was watching Pan's Labyrinth and the Spanish speakers were so happy that there was a Spanish movie playing that they didn't complain that it was weird. Some of the other guys started complaining, but all the Spanish speakers made them shut up. So, we all sat there and watched the movie.
At the end, everybody was like, "I don't usually watch movies like that, but it was pretty good."
I should rent it again.

I have so many irons in the fire how many irons all of the irons all of them F%+*.
Today I spent a fair bit of time reading political threads. Then when I looked at the main OTD and clicked on apolitical threads, only like half a dozen FaWTLies are posting. I will choose to believe that I drove them all away with the blinding light of my charisma.

This time I'm almost certain it wasn't me! (Not that I wasn't thinking of doing something that would make that happen.)

Who needs drugs? This state of mind is so f$#+in delirious. I am having difficulty keeping my different personas straight. It is a serious issue.
You might say . . . this is SERIOUSLY DELIRIOUS BIZNASTY>
0-0
(Anyway I better feel normal tomorrow. It better not be something like that MELANCHOLY complex disorder.)

It could be all these political threads I'm reading and also my lack of sleep, but do the forums feel different to anyone?
Yes, the hide threads features has robbed the OTD of: AZ's parody threads, smurfs, and, for the most part, people freaking out.
Maybe it was just a momentary thing, but when I first started posting here, it seemed like more of the better political posters were on the right half of the spectrum and that doesn't really appear to be the case anymore. But maybe that's just because BT is on hiatus.
Also, I noticed that Samnell has gone missing. :(

I think I feel/felt this/that way because I am/was in a nihilist mood.* F#%~in teacher talkin about parasites all the time.
*Also not even trying to read FaWTL any more.
I guess the liberals took over the forums. Yay?
(Really though for some reason I liked it when the REACTIONARIES were in the majority. I didn't think I would, but I guess seeing people being disrespectful all the time makes me sad.)
I have posted about a thread per day for the last five days. It is part atonement, part because I like non-serious threads, and part because I keep thinking of GREAT thread ideas.
(Totally unrelated)
Gorbacz's troll was F@+@IN EPIC> I think you've all seen the orc thread by now.
(And I really like that I can post there and not get many accusations of being trivial. I'm Role-playing! [And telling the truth.])

I guess I should post a movie review about now, but I haven't watched any movies! So instead I will post a review of Strife!
Strife! A+. This is quite good. Each song is quite different in terms of popular genre, but similar in overall style - loud. Tensei puts well to use the same talent he displayed in "Cascade," and without the in-universe significance of that song this reviewer would prefer this album to that single song.
Tensei is not afraid to use electronic remixing, but each song is so polished that the various sounds are not granulated. Most sounds seem to come from physical sources, though this reviewer could be wrong. One of the few remixes is from Toby "Radiation" Fox (no comment on the canid theme of this dog-man-god's name), which increases its awesomeness score by about 8888 points.
The album art, though irrelevant to casual listening (this reviewer recognises that a sane*** human should be unable to listen to this album casually), enhances the experience and clues in the listener to any meaning in the song.
No song is The Best on this album. Rather, it is a concentration of awesome in six acts.*

Alright, I swore to myself I wasn't going to spend another day checking out the boards every 20 minutes.
This was an exceptionally aggravating week at work. The devious bastards at UPS figured out a way to work us part-timers as full-timers for Christmas without paying us our usual overtime. Now, it's either agree to their bs or do without our peak season hours, which all p-ters rely upon to boost their yearly income.
Whatever. They only pulled this crap because all the union officials are in DC for the Teamster election--let's see what happens when the Business Agent gets back to town.
I'm going to go get stinking drunk.

I think I figured out how to do these emoticon things.

Movies, movies, movies!
Mysterious Island: This movie wasn't very good, but all the Harryhausen action scenes are cool and worth watching. Overall movie: C-. Harryhausen scenes: A.
Thor: I don't know if it was the faux-Shakespearean gravitas that Kenneth Branagh to the film or the copious amounts of weed I smoked while watching this, but I liked it better than all of the other Marvel flicks I've seen recently. I'll even give it an A, but I fully admit my judgment may have been slightly impaired when I was watching this.
Legend of the Tsunami Warrior: Thanks to In Vino Veritas for pointing this film out. It rocked and I highly recommend that everyone see it. A.

Sup sup sup! I didn't get up very early today so I was forced to rush a couple pie crusts.
My sis is going to have to also finish it this weekend. I may have to cancel gaming. I've got another recruit, but he started reading Problem Sleuth and I'm going to have to get his email and send him the link of where he left off. Perhaps reading Problem Sleuth will lead to even further awesomeness when he reads Homestuck? I don't know.
Back to reading! (Also f++& I got this scrape on the horny part of my palm [wait f*~$ not that horny part ITS MY LEFT HAND GUTTERBRAIN {wait I use that one too SHUT UP F~ASS}] and it's not closed up yet and it's a complete pain to type with. Literally.)
