Hydro, I love your rendition here. I'm kind of waiting for the kobold quarterly to come out that Marc Radle 81 mentioned before I finalize my make. When is it coming out?
As far as bleeding attack from thieves' abilities to sneak attack with this ranger rebuild, I'd imagine it could also grant a bonus to track if you hit someone with it. Perhaps it could go under your ranger lore, along with the evasion or uncanny dodge skills. The viridian bond ability is great, but I was thinking that in place of the fast healing progression that perhaps your natural armor and stealth could progress. Perhaps as a choice of either when undertaking the ritual. Have you thought any more on this? Thanks
Kobold Quarterly #11 comes out this month in fact, although I don't know the exact date. Last I heard from Wolfgang, he said it would be around Halloween although it might be sooner.
Paizo actually has it listed now in the store:

I'm really anxious to hear what everyone thinks of this variant spell-less ranger. I put a lot of time and enery into it.
Thanks everyone!

Hey everyone,
Just wanted to let you know issue 11 of Kobold Quarterly is now out. You can buy it in print form or PDF at the KQ web site or right here at Paizo.

Thanks!
I will see about picking this up asap. Thanks for the heads up, I was just wondering what happened to the KQ take on the ranger.

The Cut-Throat Ranger is up, and much props to the database minions for cleaning it up.
Last minute changes:
-Guardian now works for any adjacent ally (not just one); so, basically, the whole party. “Stay close, I smell an ambush...”
-Reworded favored terrain slightly so that the AC bonus applies when you gain cover ‘from your terrain’. This is left to DM adjudication, but by the old wording you gained the bonus from ANY cover, whether or not it had anything to do with your terrain (tower shields, f’rinst).
-Hunter’s Strike 16th level: can study opponent as a standard action (rather than full round action). Studying is a standard action each round up until that point and I don’t think I need to change that.
-Prey lets you mark quarry as a free action (and select a new one after only ten minutes should you kill the first), but the bonuses are no longer as crazy (you add instinct to all damage rolls, rather than to all attack and AC).
Thanks again for all the banter, feedback, and commentary.
(And Marc's ranger is also pretty cool, but that has its own thread now.)

I really, really like this overall, I gave it 5 stars. The only things I would work on would be hunter's strike and instinct, but I will go over that in detail in another post(or if you prefer e-mail, since it has to do with more homebrew flavor).
I will also be picking up the pdf later on today and see the other version of the ranger- I got snarled in some work stuff and didn't get a chance to pick it up yesterday.

Thanks for the props, and the forum works fine. n_n

Just gave the KQ Ranger a once over, and I love it, but I think that Hydro's has the slight edge over it if only because it has the option for spell-use: but then again, this is supposed to be the spell-less ranger. I will do a side by side comparison later on tomorrow. From what I have seen so far, I think the Freehold version of the Ranger will be some bizzare amalgamation of the rangers presented here, but keep in mind that my homebrew is based on 3.5, not 3.P, so there are going to be some translation issues I'm sure.
