I played it for a little while--I stopped about a month or two ago. It's sort of like the Kingdom of Loathing with better graphics but no puzzle solving or funny quests or story lines.
It's fun to wander around awhile and read the descriptions of the monsters and areas, but in order to do well--at least as of the last time I played it--you really have to earn your zorkmids through PVP, whereas I just wanted to explore dungeons. PVP in games like that always makes me feel like a bully. But for me, therefore, leveling and getting good gear was therefore a very slow process.
But the game is fairly new and I think the devs were working on more ways for different players with different play preferences to do well in the game. So it may be a little more dynamic as time passes--I plan to check it out again in a few months to see if they added anything.
