FullMetal Alchemist : Brotherhood

Well, Hulu has FullMetal Alchemist : Brotherhood on it. Since I own the orginal TV series, it got me to thinking. How different is this series versus the original TV show?

Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood follows the original Manga much more closely then the first TV series. Plus the style seems more open and interesting.

All in all I'd say it surpasses the first series quite a bit.

Is it a remake of the original episodes with some new content or mostly new content?

It's not based off of the original show, it's based off the manga. All new animation.
