All - another apology. The necrotic aura is only dealing 5 damage to any of you due to the mass resistance. Theren and Lurean should be 10 hp better off than they are.

For all his urging, not even Lurean's force of personality can enable Theren to hit the treant. Their bark is tough with age and frost.

A casual branch slams into Theren, just glancing off the hide armour, while T1's root system seeks to entangle and hold the flying warden.

1d20 + 28 ⇒ (20) + 28 = 48 - Freezing Roots (Ref) v Genryu. Crit. Genryu takes 11hp damage from the attack, but is restrained (se) with an aftereffect of immobilised to the end of his next turn after he makes the save. He's no longer flying and is in the lake. He'll take 15hp damage at the start of his next turn and is dazed. Resistance factored in.

T2 smacks a branch into Lurean's face and once more seeks to hold the warlord in place.

Well, that looks pretty bad. Add 1d6 ⇒ 3 to the 37, if needed; or to one of the 36s, otherwise. If there's a pure miss on either target, Lav is dazed TEOMNT.


Lav sends tormenting shadows of illusory lumberjacks to taunt the treants and the great creatures flail wildly at opponents only they can see.

Tough though their bark may be, it seems that the treants are not invulnerable.

I would think you can. Immobilized just means you can't leave your square, it's not like stunned.

Flying over the lake, Alasandro sizes up the bloodied treant and tries to add to the damage, hoping to bring the creature down hard and fast, but contenting himself for now with simple blasting.

"You shall not escape." Theren steps forward, then suddenly appears next to the treant in a flash of light before attempting to slash into it.

These things can't be hit with a 15 and I can't seem to roll above 10. Great.


They're vile. They have an AC to match Theren's own. Other defenses are achievable, this just isn't Theren's fight really.

Genryu lifts himself from the freezing water and back to the sky.

Genryu hauls himself out of the freezing water and flaps laboriously back to land before trying to hit T2. The attack itself misses, but the sheer force of the blows causes some twigs to fall.

Tavar's attack effortlessly reduces the first treant to matchwood and he flies grimly towards T2. Alasandro pulls the creatures death energy into himself and teleports closer to T3, hoping for better opportunities.

I did worse than that, I left the treant in the init list. Gone now and amended T2 to the immobilised state.

Refocus Oath on T2, shift to L11, then a basic attack(Assuming I have flanking): 1d20 + 30 ⇒ (7) + 30 = 371d20 + 30 ⇒ (11) + 30 = 412d12 + 12 ⇒ (4, 7) + 12 = 23


Don't forget T2 is blinded, so you're all attacking at +5 until the end of Lav's next turn.

Blinded, the treant can do nothing to stave of Theren's vengeance and the fullblade at last cuts deep into bark.
