Q for those who finished the AP..

Savage Tide Adventure Path

did any PC assume the mantle of...

Spoiler:
Prince of Demons? If so, what happened next? What kinds of fun can you expect with Iggwilv. I can see all my PCs wanting divinity at the end of the adventure-path. Does the Prince of Demons have any divine ranks?

Spoiler:

One of my PCs did. The Fighter that happened to be the guy that dealt the killing blow and was Malcanthet's proxy. initially he refused, but Malcanthet dominated him and forced him to participate. He lost to Graz'zt on a tie-breaker roll.

Demogorgon doesn't have any divine ranks (as written). you could always grant him a divine rank of 0.

I had two PC's that were going to vie for it (one was a CG Mal-proxy, the other a LE wizard). They both had used considerable resources to ensure extremely high results, so their only real competition would've been each other.

I know the CG proxy was planning to kill his friend/rival immediately after Demogorgon was destroyed

Not sure what the LE wizard had planned... and I never did found out either, since Demogorgon TPK'd the party. The LE wizard barely managed to escape with the body of his CG friend... which he then fashioned into a grotesque table. Makes me wonder what he woulda done if he had known his friend had planned to betray him.

I've heard of PCs being "supportive" of each other, but that is ridiculous.

So if I may ask, what was it that made Demo G TPK the party? power level, or bad luck, poor tactics?
