Was Lent as enlightening as you expected?
It's true. I have a picture.

Oh wait, my bad! That's what I do all the time...
What he said. He's by far my favorite clone.

You missed my april fool's joke where I led people to believe that they did nekkid iconics cheesecake and they haven't got the mail - but that thread was rickrolled by some trojan-containing link and had to be euthanised.
And, for those who keep tabs on my religious leanings, I remain an atheist, but wanted to get in touch with my Catholic heritage, thus Lent.
Wow. You take the bad kinds of religion and leave the good? Better double check, you might be a catholic fundamentalist ;-P
But really, there are better ways to get in touch with your religious heritage, like celibrating a major holiday (like Christmas) by eating until you're completely full, and then eat more.

That was a joke?!?!! I heard about it and spent hours upon hours searching for it in vain.
However, I did manage to find a lot of Family Guy pr0n, so it wasn't a total loss...

Sebastian,
Welcome back. (And giving up the messageboards for Lent is a splendid idea; I might use it next year.)
What kind of table-top games are you playing now?
I'm still playing a 4e campaign which is about to move into a weekly schedule (hooray!). I've been talking about playing nMage with Fate online, but I'm afraid the move to a weekly game will mess that up.
I'm still generally happy with 4e, particularly the DM side which I find to be significantly easier to use than 3e. I am not very happy with the players' side; I just think there's too much redundancy in powers and that the classes are difficult to grok because they don't seem to have very strong themes. We've invested in a lot of gear to make the game run smoother - I can't imagine playing without the little magnetic disks from Alera Tools to track the various conditions that get thrown around.
How about you Chris? What's the game de jure at your table?

Thanks for asking.
I'm running a couple of games on the boards, in play-by-post: a 3.5 "Castle Whiterock" and a Pathfinder Beta homebrew set on Golarion (Ursalav, to be precise).
Honestly, I'm glad they're play-by-posts, because as a DM I am finding it tricky to keep 3.5 rules and Pathfinder rules straight, and I appreciate the additional time to double-check things.
In the 3-dimensional world, I'm participating with four friends in a round-robin gaming collaborative; everybody GMs for a few weeks, and then plays in other peoples' games. Currently, my chum Nigel is running a d20 Modern / M&M / Aberrant superhero game set in 1958 New Jersey.
When my turn to GM comes 'round, I'm running a 3.5 campaign: 3 parts "War of the Burning Sun" to 1 part "Steven King's Dark Tower" in the Chainmail "Shattered Empires" setting with a Middle Asian cultural overlay. (Elves as Mongols just seems so right.)

All hail the mighty one, who hast returned to grace us with his hoofish and horned image once more!
Even if he has put on a few pounds...

Welcome back Sebastian! Is that brimstone smell a new lawyerly cologne or the remnants of flame war napalm?
The smell of brimstone, of course, implies that I have something to do with Hell. Most people know that Hell is far to afraid of me and will not allow me through the gates under any circumstances.

You know having witnessed the whole WotC thread in all it's unglory. It's kinda been made clear to me that while Sebastian may not work for Paizo, he's definitely one of those "get the job done" types.
I seem him as kind of the "Michael Clayton" of Paizo. He does the dirty work that Paizo (in all their graciousness to the community) won't do.
