OK if it is possible to get a Paizocon in the UK, why can't there be one in the NYC/Philadelphia Area?
Afterall who wants to go to Seattle anyway? Microchips and Pearl Jam?
In New York you can get Snotdogs and Broadway... Plus Brooklyn BRewery (incidently the first American Beer to have a booth at the CAMRA Olympia Beerfestival in London).
I know more gamers here that play OGL variants than 4e. Why can't we get an East COast Paizocon?

The One in the UK was setup by Pazio Fan... not Paizo themselves.. If you want one.. see if you can find anyone who has experience in running a convention and is a Paizo fan and convince him/her to run one.

Dragnmoon's right. In fact, just have a go at organising it yourself. I've never run a convention before but I just decided to try it and PaizoCon UK seems to have taken off thanks to the enthusiasm of fans.

I agree; you may go insane with worry, or end up crazily obsessing over details, but if there are a group of you, and you are all enthusiastic, then at least take a rain-check (?) over how many people might be prepared to pay & attend if you organise one.
