Pathfinder Modern?

Now that Pathfinder RPG is wrapping up, might there be a chance for d20 Modern to get the same treatment?

Er...I'm not sure what a "Pathfinderized" d20 Modern would be like -- d20 Modern already has d6/d8/d10 HD, weaker versions of Power Attack and Improved Trip, talents for every class (not just rogues), etc. I guess you could use Combat Maneuvers instead of the usual grapple/trip rules, but personally I thought that was one of the weaker bits of Pathfinder. And I guess you could change the skill system to the Pathfinder version.

One of the 3PP who has signed on for the Compatibility License is apparently planning a Pathfinder Modern... I'm not sure about the legality of that, to be honest, but someone else has clearly had the same idea.

IIRC, one of the 'higher ups' expressed no desire or interest in producing PF RPG Modern.
