Ok, yes, I watch the damned thing after they get rid of the auditions and get to the people with (some degree) of talent.

They decided last night to have a top 13 rather than a top 12.

They just had to copy Paizo's top 17 decision, didn't they?

You know, I saw a mention of 'Idol' on Yahoo just a few minutes ago, and I had the exact same reaction: they totally copied Paizo! :P

But the auditions are the BEST part! I've never seen/heard SO many people that sing worse than I do ... and of course, there was the (in)famous Bikini Girl ... rawr.

I stop watching after the auditions are done - everything I need to know I catch the morning after. ^_^

They need Simon - the show is untenable without his cynicism and "you suck until proven otherwise" attitude, IMO.
