My question is with both the Chronicles and Companions coming out after the release of PFRPG, will these be PFRPG compatible or still under 3.5?
They all say PFRPG. Though they would still be backwards compatible to 3.5.

While most of them are generally rules-light, that's not necessarily going to be true for every product.

Bah! If the GM has half a brain he can take any product from any game and make it compatible with his. I've taken Shadowrun adventures and made them work for 3.5

Oooh! How about making D&D 3.5 or Pathfinder RPG compatable with the Cybermagic world of Shadowrun?

Remarkably easy, actually. The main hurdle to jump is being aware of the difference in scale between a 1st-level adventure and a 15th-level adventure.

So far theyv'e been rules light. That's changing. The main reason we've been hesitant to do much rules in these books is because we're transitioning to a new game and we didn't want the rules to clash. Now that we're confident that the Pathfinder RPG is going to be very compatible with 3.5, you can expect to see a larger crunch element in Paizo products. The flavor will always drive the crunch (not the other way around), but there WILL be more crunch, in the form of new monsters, magic items, feats, spells, whatever, in future products in general.

Well, that sounds just fine to me!

As long as you don't forget to include "traits." :P
