As you're all compelled to advance, step through the halls, safely, no more traps assail you, the final trap has been spring, you step into a colonnaded great hall, Hruskin sits upon a throne at the end of the hall, a dozen or more skeletons in various armors stand between you and the goblin...

"Join me, or join them...final offer."
"Jo'kahl, Jo'tehm...Daella'kree." In the Three voices.
"Join me, or join them...final offer."

Male Hobgoblin Fighter 1 Air Element Sorcerer 1 Rogue 1

Haruuc glares at the little Goblin. "Whos is it exactly that we are supposed to be joining?"

Male Hobgoblin Ftr 4

"Stupid elves."
ready bow

well I am back, I dont know how long my computer will work this time, trying to scrounge up the jink to get it fixed. That sucks that I wasnt around to fail my will saving throw lol

I look at the many skeletons inhabiting the room and glance down at my weapons, with a frown I pull out the magic kukri that we recovered from the mournland

"I rather enjoy living and not smelling like a rotting corpse thank you"

knowledge arcane 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (18) + 3 = 21

Male Human HP (5/6) | AC/Touch/Flat 13/13/10 | Fort/Ref/Will +0/+3/+3 | Init +3 | Percep +2

Please inform me If my knowledge arcane check is high enough to know that you need to use bludgeoning weapons against skeletons. If so EVERYONE please read the spoiler, if not please ignore :)

Spoiler:
I quickly take stock of the various weapons in the hands of the skeletons, (if I see any bludgeoning weapons I will head for that one first) "try and get ahold of a mace or something so we can take apart these skeletons quick

The Exchange

As you look around, the weapons range from clubs, longswords, scimitars, and even a two handed sword. the skeletons haven't moved yet.

I'll try to get a map up today with the skeleton locations.

Male Hobgoblin Ftr 4

Smiling to Drex, "Shall we?"

Anything on my question?

Sorry guys, the stick that I had your dungeon on got erased by accident, I'm reworking the dungeon, have at least that room up tomorrow.

Male Human HP (5/6) | AC/Touch/Flat 13/13/10 | Fort/Ref/Will +0/+3/+3 | Init +3 | Percep +2

Well, unless something significant happens to change this action...

I grin toothily at Brignat and grunt "Lets" heading toward the nearest, non attack of opportunity provoking enemy holding a club or mace or some sort (that is IF my knowledge check succeeded, you still haven't said if it has or not otherwise)

I grin toothily at Brignat and grunt "Lets" and make a bee line for the most threatening looking opponent to set up a flanking position for Brignat and Haruuc's attacks. while trying to remain un-flanked and otherwise out of harms way myself.

The Exchange

OK I GOT THE MAP UP!!! WOOO

You are at the A1/A2 location.

Scale: 5ft.

Circles represent skeletons. Except the goblin at T6 intersection.

That cant be true, arcane casters can raise undead, just at much later levels and they dont need knowledge religion to do it... but its your call oh mighty DM

hahaha, I'm not moving anytime soon, must have seen something shiny, or perhaps I am trying to build suspense?

I just realized that the undead Hruskin has been running around nekked since I pulled off all his armor and stuff before we left his body at the entrance, he doesnt even have his holy symbol anymore

It's true...sorry...

from PFSRD:
Arcana (ancient mysteries, magic traditions, arcane symbols, constructs, dragons, magical beasts)
Religion (gods and goddesses, mythic history, ecclesiastic tradition, holy symbols, undead)

He seems to have found some stuff here in the Sarcophagus Colonnaded Hallway...I somehow doubt you would have stripped him of "clothing" usable items, yes, clothing...doubtful...unless you actually said you completely strip him...I seem to remember you saying take anything useful...

well I took off his armor, I wasn't really refering to him running around in the buff, more of him lacking a high armor class due to no longer having his original armor on

3rd time lucky?

Male Hobgoblin Fighter 1 Air Element Sorcerer 1 Rogue 1

Initiative: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 3 = 16

Haruuc wraps his Spiked Chain around himself and pulls out his Heavy Flail, gripping it tightly and preparing for the worst.

If we get more than one round before the Skeletons Attack, he will also take a moment to cast shield on himself.

The Exchange

I was waiting til we had everyone ready for combat before he answers the question...

"Join me as an intelligent servant, or as a mindless minion."
"Gollaen t'kreeal b'shaan, vasshaal tael ressh."
"Join me as an intelligent servant, or as a mindless minion."

Male Human HP (5/6) | AC/Touch/Flat 13/13/10 | Fort/Ref/Will +0/+3/+3 | Init +3 | Percep +2

well since I don't know that skellies need bludgeoning damage i'm gonna pull out the magic kukri that I have and head for either H,3 or H,10 whichever I am closer to, this is of course after making my comment to Brignat

"I serve only Darguun." Haruuc gestures to the Skeltons. "Send your minions to do their worst. We will defeat them as we will defeat you." With that, he begins to twirl the head of his Heavy Flail menacingly.

The Exchange

Sorry guys got hammered with some stuff around here...update is coming...resolving some partial unemployment issues.

The Exchange

Things begin happening quickly. Brignat's arrow strikes Hruskin in the chest and snaps as it impacts some form of invisible protection, Haruuc makes a few gestures and there's a visible shimmer in the air around him. Drexel quickly draws his blade and dives into the fray! Just before Drexel strikes, as one the skeletons all ready their weaponry...Drexel sees a red gleam in their empty eye socket.

"Very well, be destroyed!"
"Vaal, T'reskk!"
"Very well, be destroyed!"

The Exchange

Hruskin begins to chant...as he chants, heat begins to leave the room...

2 skeletons attack Drexel, one has a mace, another has a finely wrought scimitar Drexel sidestep and deflect the attacks.

4 skeletons with shields move back to shield Hruskin.

2 skeletons move to the northern gallery, 2 move to the southern gallery

The final two advance toward Haruuc.

Attacks on Drexel:
1d20 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
1d20 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12

Male Human HP (5/6) | AC/Touch/Flat 13/13/10 | Fort/Ref/Will +0/+3/+3 | Init +3 | Percep +2

Knowing that chanting from any kind of an enemy spell caster is bad I shout to the others "focus on our undead friend! try to distract him!" and proceed to cut a path toward him.

attack vs skelly w/scimitar using Kukri "Vicious" 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 15 I believe Vicious is magic since we recovered it as a relic or whatever, that was quite some time ago I'll have to re-read some older stuff, I am not sure exactly how that may or may not affect this fight

dmg 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3

Male Hobgoblin Ftr 4

After firing at his former companion again, Brignat begins to advance. Att vs. Leader 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 141d8 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10

Male Hobgoblin Fighter 1 Air Element Sorcerer 1 Rogue 1

As the Skeletons advance towards him, Haruuc makes one last preparation for the coming battle. He reaches around and pulls a vial of liquid from his pack. unstoppering it, he swigs it down and immediately feels a little better.

Drink cure light wounds Potion.
1d8 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

The Exchange

Current Map

The Exchange

Drexel's blade skips off the bones of the skeleton, an ineffective attack as the skeleton shifted out of the way of the attack.

Brignat's second arrow bounces off the intangible field protecting the possessed goblin as he continues to chant.

Haruuc drinks his potion, the warmth rushing coursing through his veins as the life giving elixir heals his bumps and scrapes.

The Exchange

Male Hobgoblin Fighter 1 Air Element Sorcerer 1 Rogue 1

Haruuc strides forward and swings his Flail in at the skeleton before him, crushing bones with the vicious attack.

Move to E5
Attack Skeleton in F5 with Heavy Flail: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 = 19

I attack again, slashing at the skelli before me

1d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12
1d4 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5

ugh and another wiff :/ my characters are just sucking lately, I just got thoroughly trounced in my game at an acquaintances house tonight and now I cant even hit a skelli

The Exchange

Updated Map I also added in which weapons they each have, you notice that the four which are guarding Hruskin are armed with better weaponry, including what appear to be 2 magical weapons, as one has begun to flame, they're also taller, thinner and wearing elven chain armor, Valenar Royal guards perhaps, as they're all wielding scimitars and you notice they seem to move with more purpose than the other skeletons, who all appear to be hobgoblins.

The Exchange

Haruuc brings his flail down in a deadly arc, shattering every bone in the skeleton from skull to pelvis. Meanwhile,

Skeleton Attacks:

4 vs. Haruuc 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (15) + 3 = 18
1 vs. Drexel 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12
2 vs. Drexel 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25
crit threat vs. drexel 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14

The Exchange

...meanwhile, Drexel is hit with a rapier attack as the two skeletons flank him. Haruuc is struck from behind by a light mace.

Male Human HP (5/6) | AC/Touch/Flat 13/13/10 | Fort/Ref/Will +0/+3/+3 | Init +3 | Percep +2

These thrice damned skellis are smarter then us, fall back and gain flanking positions cover each others backs, If we try to take them singly we will all fall just as our fallen comrade is planning!

Male Hobgoblin Fighter 1 Air Element Sorcerer 1 Rogue 1

Haruuc grunts at the impact of the mace and swings his Flail back around towards the skeleton that hit him. "Agreed. Fall back to me, I am the furthest away," he yells at the others.

Attack Skeleton #3 with Heavy Flail: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 2 = 14
Damage: 1d10 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7

You notice a smirk on the Hruskin's face as Drexel calls for a fallback

Updated: You notice a smirk on the Hruskin's face as Drexel calls for a fallback

Brignat seeing his way to the skeleton with the scimitar blocked, quickly shifts his attack to the one in front of him, driving his shoulder and the spikes into it, causing it to collapse. Drexel breaks off and moves to flank the skeleton with the light mace. Haruuc's attack flies wide.

Skeleton's Attack:

Rapier vs. Drexel
1d20 + 3 ⇒ (18) + 3 = 21 possible crit....
Confirm? 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5 no

I grunt as new hole is punched into my body, luckily it is not as painful as I expected it to be tho it isn't exactly pleasant...

I turn my attention the the light mace skelli and slash at it with the magic kukri

hitpoint counter 24

we will need a new map soon, with everyone moving and 2 skellies down I am not sure what the left half of the room looks like anymore

Growling with frustration, Haruuc once mor attempts to strike at the Skeleton, attempting to clear a space near him for the others to fall back to.

Attack Skeleton #3 with Heavy Flail: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17
Damage: 1d10 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6

The Exchange

Haruuc, brings his flail in a wide arc, shattering the skull of the skeleton he faces. Haruuc, having dispatched the previous skeleton, seizes the opportunity to attack skeleton number 2 as it moves into range of his weapons, but none of his attacks seem to do any damage.

[MAP INFO]Skeletons 1/3/4 down after this round, Drexel is in square E3. Skeleton 2 has taken skeleton 1's place. The others aren't moving yet. they just stand in readied positions.[MAP INFO]
