What are the cultural implications in Rokugan about crazy people? Are they revered or reviled?
If Shisumo says it's ok:
Though the Dragon Orders do have a reputation for being... eccentric. Especially the Hitomi.

At 2:12 AM this morning another potential gamer was brought into the world. Jeremiah Martin (Mini-Arc) was born 9 lbs, mother and baby are doing fine. I won't be around for anywhere from a few days to a week.
WHOA!
That's awesome!
I'll start making room at the table. ;)
Congrats, man!

A huge round of applause goes out to your Illustrious DM-Shisumo, who had a module he wrote for Heroes of Rokugan released for play by the campaign.
The module is called 'Border Conflict' and was released for play in early May, after being modified for the current state of the storyline by the Campaign Admin.
UTZ!
UTZ!
UTZ!
If ya'll survive long enough, and ask nicely, perhaps he will run it for you.. ;)
As an aside - are any of you going to be attending GenCon Indy this summer? I know that it is quite a journey for some of you, but one never knows...

Honorable Samurai and pious Shugenja of Rokugan, I bring news of a most unfortunate nature.
Due to continued issues with maintaining a steady internet connection, as well as starting a new job, Shisumo has asked me to let you know that he will be unable to continue GM-ing this game.
If you wish to continue with this adventure, he did give me permission to finish in his stead, and I am willing to step in, if you'll have me.
Please let me know how (or if) you would like to proceed, and I will spend the next couple of days preparing to pick up where Shisumo left off.
Thank you for your time,
Ferret

:( :( To Shisumo-sama not being able to continue. It was a lot of fun, I'd definitely jump on the chance to play with him again!
I am still interested in continuing Utsuro. I'm sad Shisumo won't be able to continue but uber-excited that you are willing to step up for us! The last module got me hooked on L5R and I needs my fix :P Thanks a lot for the offer!
PS. Great news on getting your module approved Shisumo! I didn't see the news until today.

GM-Edonichi |

Shisumo tells me that Matsu Ume has been having posting issues, so I'll wait until Sunday afternoon (Central time, US) to start the take-ov.. uh.. resuming the game.
Thank you all for your willingness to continue after the unfortunate loss of your glorious leader. You each have shown you are truly Souls of Bushido.
See ya Sunday!

I really am sorry about the delay, folks. With all the work strangeness, a couple of days turned into a month before I really noticed. Things should be smoother from here on.
No worries, I'm just happy we're back! I loved playing the last module and am enjoying the current one. It's always sad to see a game die out :( so it's good this one didn't! :)

Heya gang!
I just wanted to let you all know that I may be slow at posting over the next few days, as I will be running Mods for HoR and PFS at GenCon.
Also, I was wondering if any of you were interested in continuing on with the next module once Treacherous Terrain is complete? At the current rate, I expect to be finishing up in 4-6 weeks.

Sounds like a lot of fun Ferret, I'd be up for more modules once Treacherous Terrain ends. This game has got me hooked on L5R and I think without it I might go into withdrawal or worse!

I've been feeling a bit as a "fish out of water" for most of this scenario, first trapped in a fog cloud, and now being tested by abilities I just don't have. So I'm a little frustrated right now.
I would be willing to give another scenario a go with Ume, though.
Hopefully you won't get too frustrated Terra. It might not seem it from the surface but I am looking forward to seeing where Nagatsuna's and Ume's relationship takes them. His skills served him about as well in that damnable fog. Probably in line with Ume's thinking, he is looking for some payback.

Daichi wasn't able to do much good in the fog either. He just sat there calling out "What is happening?" the entire time. So you aren't the only one that couldn't do anything in the fog!

Haha, that fog was bane to all. Remember that you can use Void to minimise the lack of skills for Ume. Be like me, wantonly spend Void left and right until you find yourself in a situation where you really need it but are out :P

Heya Gang. Apologies for PbP Limbo. I've been kinda busy on the work front (Retail + Holidays = fleh). I was also waiting for responses to the previous scene, but hadn't heard from everyone.
Essentially, there is one RP scene left, which I had actually typed up and posted, but apparently Oni-no-Forum ate it (or I messed up the button pressing). As things are running currently, I won't be able to take a second pass at the wrap-up scene until after the first of January.
As this game has kinda been dragging for several months, I am also willing to go ahead and write up a Finale post and award XP and such, so that y'all can take this off your radars, if you wish.
Lemme know,
Ferret
