Good given past record we're going to needa healer!

Reg nods as Bean looks on at Keen's progress on the door, since he wasn't feeling that much better himself he understood Bean needed to work things out himself, sooner or later he would have to open up but as far as Reg preferred there would be a later...

GM

Celena

Spoiler:

You do not hear anyone close, you think they did not hear you. Your hands are still bound with a thick rope, the fall seems to have done little to loosen it.
You'll need to make an escape artist check or find something to cut it with

Everyone else

Spoiler:

Keen, can hear nothing at the door, somewhere a dog is baying off in the distance however, so he can hear very little from the inside. The door seems to be a good one, and locked from the inside.

Sorry, guys busy , busy weekend

Female Gnome Paladin 5

Celena try's to slip the rope bonds free from her wrists

Taking 20 on escape artist again

20 - 5 = 15

Also for an idea of how Celena looks her picture by Gworeth

Celena.

"So I use my new axe on the hinges or we try to bust in on one go?" Reg asks quietly.
"I suspect Elric could pull this off no problem I wonder can you summon something to appear inside this door and unlock it from the inside I am assuming this isn't just a matter of needing a key but just barred?" Reg asks thoughtfully.

M Human Sorcerer 1

Keen shakes his head and whispers "Not my sort of magic." If we can't pop the hinges we're just going to have to break one of the doors down.

Seeker: Can we check all the doors quietly and see which one looks easiest to break into?

"Maybe we can start a fire around the back then when they go to put it out we can break in through the front while they are distracted."

GM

Celena

Spoiler:
You manage to get loose from the bindings.Nice pic you should link it to profile

You can look around the building the front door seems to use a lock, while the double doors seem to be barred. The 3rd door, inside the pen you can not tell without climbing inside the pen and going to look

"Do any of them have a handy window to look through that allows us to see if the door is barred or locked and by the way Bean can you summon a divine ally to unbar a door if that is the case?" Reg asks before shifting to ask Bean a question all in the same quiet tone of voice.

Male Aasimar Cloistered Cleric 2

"I have some acid we can pour into the lock that might melt it down so we can simply open it" Bean offers.

assuming I was able to buy some earlier? never got a reply to that

I'm taking that to mean that she cant open the doors from her end?

Celena spends a few minutes looking around for anything she could possibly use as a weapon

Perception

After searching she goes to have a glance in the pen

There's a window? Keen starts looking around for a rock.

All repleys were in ooc thread unless I missed one.

GM

Spoiler:

The room is 15x30 feet, you see lots of meat, on the right side is a door, on the far end are double doors from which the light comes though and the sounds come. There is a drain in the floor near it stained with blood. There is a table and two stools near the north wall, the table looks to have been used to cut meat.
You can only see them two doors nothing more

Ok guys since I over looked it I will allow bean a vail of acid. That may work on the front door, or you can try it on the back. Keen there just one window on the bottom floor. The one where the meat is displayed in the shop entrance

Female Gnome Paladin 5

Celena will test the doors to see if they are actually locked if they are she will have a climb into the pen to see if there is anything she can use in there.

What pen?,The pen is on the outside of the building which you can not see, but no the doors from this room are not locked

To stop confusion I have maps for you all

Outside

Celena's room

Yes Mostly Human Geek 12/ Mountain Biker 8

Does it look like we can break the dock doors down or are they pretty solid?

Why oh why do I never build utility mages? And where is Elrick, I thought he said he was in?

Male Aasimar Cloistered Cleric 2

GM

Ok guys whats the plan to get in? acid? smashing? what door?

Celena

Spoiler:

You see a large room, with two other double doors on this wall and one on the far left. The floor of this grim chamber is strewn with blood-stained
straw, and the reek of slaughter is almost overpowering. The room itself is a killing floor. A metal track affixed to the ceiling dangles meat hooks here and there, allowing the hooks and their gory loads to be moved easily from the northwest where a large hammer sits on the floor amid a permanent bloodstain. To the south, a bloodstained grill covers a wide hole in the floor. Just north of the grill sit two large vats of water; one boiling and one cold. Two large butcher blocks stand to the east next to barrels of salt, and in the southeast corner sits a reeking vat of cast-off meat and bones. Two mean now stand around this block cutting up large chucks of meat from two large creatures A pill of items lays close to the table

Female Gnome Paladin 5

Celena try's to tiptoe to the pile of items whilst the two men are busy looking to see if any of her things are in the pile and failing that something she could use.

GM

Spoiler:
The men seem to pay you no mind as they go about their bloody work, the pile is very close to the table, odd that it would be near the block like that, for it seems to be a pile of gear, scale, and chain armor, two shields and you see an ax on top. Your gear may be in that pile, but you can't make it out form your hiding spot.

Female Gnome Paladin 5

Celena begins to reach for the axe at the top of the pile

Stealth
1 d 20 - 1=15

Celena will also check to see what sort of weapons the two men are carrying

Perception

1 d 20 =8

GM

Celena

Spoiler:

No one seems to notice as you pick up the ax, both men look to be armed with longswords, but seem busy hacking apart, some kind of large animal. As you lift the blade from the pile you watch one of em throw something from the table into a bloody pile some distance away. Horror and rage sets inas you see the thing land in the pile of offal. even in the dim light you see the lifeless hand laying palm up, amidst the blood.

Female Gnome Paladin 5

Spoiler:

Celena Is completly horrified at the sight of the hand and all thoughts of going easy on the men go out of the window Raising the axe as high above her head she cries out "Taste the doombringers justice." before bringing it crashing down on the nearest mans head

Attack With smite and -2 penalty for wielding a weapon not her size

And if that fails maybe Reg uses his axe but not without letting his comrades try their attempt first!

M Human Sorcerer 1

I think it's going to have to be both... but maybe I can burn through the door a bit? If it's wood it should take full damage from fire.

Crystal Castle is down so I used DMTools

Burning hands on the door:

GM

Celena

Spoiler:

With a sicking Thuck! The ax bury's it's self deep into the back of the mans head. Hell falls like a felled trees blood and grey matter coating the ax. The other man is surprised by the sudden blow and is slow to react, but lashes out at you with the cleaver, but you easily avoid the clumsy blow

Init
Guard=13[went]
Celena =12

The acid makes the latch pop and sizzle but is slow, Keen being impatient steps forward and burns the door with fire, while it does not destroy the door, the latch gives way and becomes easy prey to his boot. You are now looking inside the now vacnt shop front. The place of this morning bloodbath

Female Gnome Paladin 5

Jumping back from the guards blow Celena Brings her weapon round towards the guard

Everyone else make a perception check

Female Gnome Paladin 5

Celena stumbles and takes another swing

Attack

GM

Celena

Spoiler:
The size of the wepon , along with the gore now coating the haft, makes it slip from your hands on the next swing, you watch in horror as the blade sails into the room, thinking fast you run beneath the table diving for the pile of items.[ooc]You had moment left, I moved ya . You can see a dagger, and a long sword within reach The man slashes at you but catches only the table as you dive for a new weapon.

Guard=13[went]
Celena =12

Female Gnome Paladin 5

Celena takes a look at the weapons and decides she needs something more her size so begins to desperately dig through the pile looking for something anything that is the right size for her to wield properly.

M Human Sorcerer 1

Perception: #1114 1d20 + (3) = 15

A red rage overcomes Keen at the sight of the storefront and he moves into the room and pulls out his wand.

Is it light enough to move around without lights inside? If light is required Keen will cast light on his beltbuckle.

Male Aasimar Cloistered Cleric 2

Perception 18 (1117)

Bean looks around ready to move to aid his allies.

GM

There is no light in the storefront, Keen casts light illuminating the room. You can see one door behind the counter

Bean/keen

Spoiler:

You hear what sounds like muffled yelling coming from somewhere behind that door.

Male Chessentan human Paladin/Rogue 1st/1st

Sorry for the delay: Reg's Perception check: 1d20+2: 18+2 for a total of 20

M Human Sorcerer 1

Keen looks at Reg and Bean "Did you hear that?". Before they get a change to answer he charges through the door.

Male Chessentan human Paladin/Rogue 1st/1st
Keen wrote:

"No time like the present!" Reg grins as he follows Keen inside with axe and shield readied for what sounds like a battle inside...

From Reg's point of view this might mean Euphengina's inside and alive

GM

You are in a hall, there is stairs next to the door leading up, but the sounds seem to come from the far end of the hall, where light spills out from under the double doors.

At the end of this round everyone will be on the same round

M Human Sorcerer 1

Keen doesn't even pause, he charges into the room where the noise is coming from.

GM

As you bust into the room you see what looks to be a gnome in armor digging though a pile of gear, while one of the guards from this morning covered in gore and wearing an apron stands above her with a raised cleaver. Near the man , another lays on the floor with a large part of his head missing and body laying in a pool of spreading blood. The gnome seems to grasp a small longsword as the man looks up at the door swinging open

Near them two large body's lay upon the table, half butchered. Although they are missing heads, that fact they where once humanoid can not be denied
