Sure, the PHB has a lot of combat spells, but I'mù more interested in spells you make a living with, which are too few in my opinion. These spells are primarily used by NPCS professional wizards (or druids,clerics,adepts,...), the sort of spell merchants or nobles woud pay for (not a fireball).
Any ideas ? Be it homebrew or from a book (would like to pay for it).
For instance, I've found a big lot of utilitarian spells ine Rolemaster system. I just need to convert them.

Mount would be a good one. Strap that magic horsie to a plow or a grinding mill and take advantage of free mechanical energy. You could even honestly sell their services. Somebody wants to ride to Potter's Ferry, which would be a day's journey by foot, but doable in six hours on a fast horse, 'rent' him a horse and warn him that it's going to disappear in 8 hours, so not to dawdle overlong on his lunch break.
Animal Messenger might also be a handy training tool for 'carrier pigeons.' A relatively low-level Druid could quickly establish flight routes all over town, and people could come to him with letters they want run across town, or to a nearby community. Once the birds have made the trip a few times, the Druid could use this as the basis for training, and that particular bird would be able to run that route on a daily (or hourly, for in-city messages) basis.
Animate Dead beats the pants off of Mount for cheap mechanical energy. Anything you want done out-of-sight could be done by mindless skeletons. It's possible that some 'workers' could even be disguised, and it not be immediately obvious that the robed mute figures who work in the sewers breaking up jams, keeping the drains clear and eradicating vermin are not the 'untouchables' that people assume they are and that massive plate-steel 'golem' that works the bellows at the foundry? Not so much a golem, under all that armor...
As written, Arcane Lock has limited 'resale value,' but a Metamagic feat might allow the caster to designate a person touched during casting as 'you' for purposes of bypassing the lock, allowing you to cast it for someone else. Alternately, you might research a version that comes with it's own golden 'arcane key' instead of requiring gold dust as a Material component, and only the holder of the key can open it without the Arcane Lock stopping them.
If your Arcane Mark happens to be the symbol of the kingdom (or the holy symbol of your god), you could spend your days 'marking' goods that belong to the kingdom (or your church). If you're a member of a Rogue's guild, your 'mark' might be seen on buildings that have paid their protection money to the guild... Invisible Arcane Marks can be placed on coinage or items that require verification, and if they aren't present, you know that you got a forgery or if you find out that the assassin was paid with 'marked' coins, you might know where those coins came from! A wax-sealed letter might have an invisible Arcane Mark *on the wax seal,* and if it is broken and resealed later, the mark won't be there, so your wizard will be able to tell you that someone's been reading your mail.
Awaken could be popular with some extremely rich and decadent nobles, who insist that their horses not just be the fastest and strongest, but also the *smartest* and with a level of Warrior or Fighter, instead of just 'warhorse training,' which any merchant could buy at the souk. Awakened trees in the garden might be another luxury of the decadent, and the noble's children playing in the royal garden might know that Auntie Oak knows the bestest stories, but to stay away from Grandfather Willow when he gets in his moods... Unlike Animated Dead, such beasties wouldn't be as easy to use as 'cheap labor,' since they aren't under anyone's control, but the travelling circus might have the most *amazing* animal acts, if the bears and lions are sentient (and, likely, demanding a share of the revenue)!
In Golarion, land of free-range Cantrips, Detect Poison could be offered as a service at all local markets, to ensure / guarantee that foodstuffs aren't spoiled. The seamstress might make liberal use of Mending, only picking up needle and thread for major tears. She might also use Prestidigitation for cleaning up stains with a wave of her hand. Acid Splash creates permanant acid, half as strong as alchemical acid. Not much of a weapon, but perfectly serviceable for etching armor and weapons, or use in a tannery or papermill, for whatever means. It could even be used to get rid of bones and other waste at the butcher's yard, reducing the solid waste into a slurry that gets washed away into the sewers (and utterly wrecks the ecology when it hits the river and washes downstream, but hey, that's *downstream.* Not our problem.).
Best ever money-maker, back 'in the day' (before Polymorph Other, which allowed for endless Unicorn horns or Aurumvorax pelts or Griffon chicks or Giant Eagle eggs or whatever), was Metamorphose Liquids, from the 2nd Edition Tome of Magic (and converted for 3e use in the Green Ronin's Advanced Player's Guide and / or Eldritch Sorcery by Necromancer, IIRC). Water to wine/beer/etc. All you need is a cheap source of cups, some bard levels (for the music) and you're a one-man
festival!
