Um, wait! That wasn't what I was expecting. Well done, Ka'kara!
Roylenna grins at Sandros' distress and falls into step behind the others. "It looks like we are moving forward, Proteus!"
She comes to a sudden stop, "Wait, I've got an idea! Can one of you lift one of the other mirrors and put it over tunnel from inside the tunnel?"
Black Tom
Following Ka'kara's lead you all but clear the hallway of mirrors. There are three more holes in the ceiling but then the passage ends abruptly, apparently caved in. There is a certain amount of awkwardness as you all try to back out the same way while keeping the mirrors blocking the holes.
On the bright side of it, you discover two more secret passages behind other mirrors, one on the left hand of the corridor and one on the right.
You get 200 xp each for bypassing the bugs and Ka'kara gets a hero point for clever thinking.
Roylenna Brenoien
Yes, which one next? Or will you ignore them and try the double doors?
Oh, hidden tunnels are more exciting! The original door was on the right, correct? Did the tunnel on the right go near the second righthand tunnel?
Assuming that the righthand tunnel will be similar to the previous one, Roylenna is moving toward the lefthand tunnel to look in. Not stray in, just looking.
Black Tom
There is a distance of about 40 feet between the two tunnels on the right, so they aren't really that close.
The left-hand tunnel looks pretty much the same, but you can't see any holes in the ceiling and it turns to the left (that is east) instead of to the right (well, also east).
Black Tom
In a calm voice Hella answers Sandros, "Then I shall investigate," before moving into the new tunnel.
I take it that you mean the left-hand tunnel, and that Roylenna sends her lights to light your way. The narrow tunnel goes for about 20 feet, then turns to the left and goes another 30 feet. Then it opens up into a small (20 feet square) low-ceilinged (3 feet high) chamber. Hunching a little, Hella is able to stand up.
In the middle of the floor there is some sort of thick glass pane. Under it Hella can make out a man in purple robes holding a bejeweled longsword across his chest.
Sandros Highmount
It doesn't take much imagination to predict the hasty reaction some of her new friends might have to this discovery.
Hey! What are you saying?
;)
After Hella has been out of sight for several moments, Sandros calls down to her, "Hella? Everything all right?" He's not comfortable with her being beyond eyeshot and alone, though he's willing to wait - for now.

I believe in order to do this, Roylenna will have to have line of sight to where the Dancing Lights are, so she will follow. After Hella indicates she can proceed, she will move up to the next corner. In other words, at this point, she should be peeking around the corner at the searching halfling.
She will make a "calm down" motion with her hand behind her if she hears the tall people getting antsy. Totally disregarding whether they can see her or not.
Roylenna Brenoien
If her search reveals nothing dangerous, Hella will motion to Roylenna that it is all clear and that the others can move in if they wish.
I'm about to be afk again, so...
On Hella's signal, Roylenna will wave the others forward. If they can't see her, she will use Message to whisper, "Hella says it is safe. Come on in, but watch your head. The ceiling is low here, too."
Black Tom

Hella notices a fine mist swirling around the body, but nothing that seems to pose any immediate danger.
Sandros Highmount
Sandros crawls into the hole and thence to the small chamber. On his hands and knees in the tiny room, he looks down at the figure beneath the glass. "This is not our place," he says, looking up at Hella and Royl. "Unless this man is not dead, as he appears, there is nothing here for us but to disturb his peaceful rest. We should go."
Royl might want to detect magic on the body, just in case he's actually in stasis or something...
Black Tom
Roylenna fails to register any magic on or around the resting warrior, so you leave him alone.
I guess that you'll want to explore the third passage, which ends in a similar room, but with the crucial difference that it seems to have been plundered. The glass is shattered and the sarcophagus is empty.
Ka'kara Furyheart
Ka'kara gives Sandros a serious look and gives a slight nod of her head, "I agree with you. The dead should not be disturbed once put to rest. In my tribe the spirit talker speaks with the offended spirit and pronounces judgement upon any graverobbers caught. It is usually a very bad way to die."
......later Ka'kara approaches within 10' of the double doors, "Would you like me to open them? I tire of all this skulking around but this seems to be a crypt and they are often trapped in the stories I have been told."
Roylenna Brenoien
"I prepared explosive runes today."
LOL, my thoughts exactly.
The doors seem to be clear of traps, but Roylenna detects a magic aura in one end of the plundered sarcophagus. It looks like some kind of magic rune.
Oh, I'm going going to regret this...
Roylenna will concentrate to determine anything she can about the aura (type and strength, given three rounds of study, right?). She will try to determine if this is something that can be transported for later study and maybe ask Hella to investigate it, as well.
In the end, assuming it doesn't explode in her face, she will copy the rune onto a scrap of our map paper for future inquiry and follow the others to the double doors.
Black Tom
I took the liberty of rolling Spellcraft for Roylenna. No luck, sorry. Knowledge (arcana) was better, though.
Roylenna fails to determine the aura, but the shape and placement tells her that it is some kind of protective rune.
Unfortunately I'm away on a trip and haven't my books with me, so I'll have to wait to describe the room beyond the doors until tomorrow, when I'll be back.

You're always welcome to roll for anything I've overlooked.

"Hella, I do not think you want to touch it, but can you see if this protects some sort of hidden panel, as Ka'kara suggested? The magic appears to be the sort that would be used to protect something, but I do not see anything to protect. Right now, I do not believe I could disable it, but I might return at a later date, after I've learned more."
Black Tom
After much searching, Hella indeed discerns a secret panel in the sarcophagus, but you decide to leave it for now.
...time fade...
The double doors swing open, revealing a large room (60 times 50 feet), dominated by four large stone heads, each easily over six feet tall and four feet broad. They are human and probably male, but they are carved in an archaic (Viridian) style that makes it hard to be sure. They form a square in the center of the room, and between them there is a large diamond painted in the floor in a familiar red hue.
Visible exits are a door across the room (to the west) and a 10 feet wide corridor leading north (to the right). There are no foes visible.
Hella
Hella will move quietly towards the center of the room, searching for traps and alarms as she approaches the heads.

Are the heads all facing (looking) the same direction?
Proteus
"They turn?" Ka'kara walks over to one, "Which way would you like me to turn it?"
"It would seem to me that we should turn them toward the diamond in the center. Of course, you won't mind if I stand in the hallway while you try to turn them? I rather enjoyed my most recent meal."
Black Tom
The statues are too abstract to be identified, but Proteus is able to tell that they are several centuries old and of Viridian make. Possibly the orcish magic above wasn't really orcish.
Anyway it takes a DC 25 Strength check to turn the statues. Ka'kara will need some help or a lot of patience.
Ka'kara Furyheart
Ka'kara attempts to turn the head her muscles bulging and straining with the effort. After it moves only slightly does she back away from it. She turns and looks over the others one at a time finally settling on Sandros, "Can you help me turn this thing? It's too big to do alone."
They will turn the heads to face the gem.
Black Tom
I think I was a little unclear. It is a painted diamond shape on the floor, not a gem. Not that it matters much, though.
With Sandros's help Ka'kara is able (after much grunting and sweating) to turn all the statues so that they face inwards. As the last head grinds into place the diamond starts to glow red.
I think Proteus has indicated that he's keeping well away, but what do the rest of you do?
Proteus
Seeing the wide eyed look on Royl's face, from the hallway Proteus speaks, "Go ahead, Royl, we all know you want to..."

I didn't expect that to actually work. ;)
Hella
While Ka'kara and Sandros labor to align the heads, Hella will keep watch on the other entries to the room.
Upon seeing the center of the room start to glow, Hella starts to step back towards the way she entered. She stops halfway there and says, "That does not look natural or safe. Perhaps we should retreat to the hallway."

Proteus laughs. "It is probably not natural or safe, which is precisely why Royl will not be able to walk away," he says with a smile.

Oh, you know her so well. Too bad I was afk all day.
As predicted, Roylenna is drawn into the room like a moth to a flame. She will circle the glow, moving outside the circle of heads, looking for any clues as to its purpose.
